Paya in Camden

I ordered through deliveroo and all the dishes were incorrect and absolutely tasteless. The saying definitely goes that you get what you pay for. There is a reason the menu seems cheaper then other restaurants. Won't be ordering again!

Pedimos nuestra comida a las 7. 30 pm y finalmente recibimos nuestro pedido a las 9. 45 p.m. Tuve que llamar al restaurante cuatro veces y cada vez hablaba con una mujer grosera que me dijo que llamaría al conductor. Ella nunca volvió a llamarme así que tuve que llamar al restaurante cada vez. Cuando llamé la última vez pedí hablar con el gerente. Hablé con él durante unos 30 segundos antes de que devolvieran el teléfono a la grosera señora, con la que había hablado anteriormente. Ella me dijo que esperara 5 minutos más y cuando le pregunté qué sucede después de 5 minutos si no llega, me preguntó qué sugeriría. Sugerí un reembolso completo a lo que ella respondió que TRATARÍAN de hacer esto. Llegó finalmente, pero hacía frío. Aterrador servicio de atención al cliente. Realmente decepcionante No pierdas tu tiempo ordenando desde este lugar.

Esto solía ser bueno, pero ha cambiado la gestión y ahora es peligrosamente horrible. Ni siquiera lo pienses. Incompetencia más allá de la creencia.

Colocar un pedido en línea. Nos cobraron un extra de 1. 50 para la entrega a cuenta de mi casa "demasiado lejos". Mi casa está a 1 km del restaurante! Cuando la entrega, el conductor entrega llegamos era grosero y odioso. La entrega estaba equivocada. Llamé a la tienda, me fui directamente al correo de voz - 7 veces! Llamé en 7 (hora local en un día laborable. ) tuve que ir a la tienda en persona, en el frío, la lluvia miserable para solucionar el error. El personal era agradable y fija el orden. La comida era horrible de malo. Los platos no tenían sabor y eran demasiado cremosa o era sencillamente horrible y no sepan bien. En general, la experiencia fue horrible y yo prefiero comer un vagabundo mans toe nail que nunca pida comida a este lugar de nuevo. Realmente no me impresionó nada.

El personal es amable y la comida es buena. Tienen un menú de buen tamaño, que cubren china y tailandesa. La comida es deliciosa y el servicio es rápido.

Ordered take away from this restaurant and got really ill for 2 days with food poisoning, please seriously avoid!!!

Ordered a delivery. The one positive is that It arrived on time. They forgot to include the pancakes with the duck and, to be fair, when we called to tell them this they sent round but just the pancakes but another potion of duck as well, at no extra charge. Good on them for doing that. But the food was just grim. Two portions of Thai Green Curry - one prawn, the other chicken - were cooked in a sloppy, congealed sauce which seemed to have come out of a "cook in" sauce jar from the supermarket. Pok Choi was watery and covered in pre-cut garlic from a jar. Just awful.

When I was ordering food on just eat website .. it was mentioned that £0 is required for delivery. After placing order when I called the restaurant to confirm the order, the person on other end was rude and replied that who will take a delievry for £5 and refused to do delivery ..

However, what is my surprise, while I am finishing my dish, that I found in my mouth a small piece of metal. I do believe it came from those metal sponges which I do not understand how it could ended up in my food. Sorry but, I will definetely not recommend this place. For your own sake.

Ordered two pad thai dishes, one vegetable stir fry and a tom yum soup. Soup was decent however the pad thai was pretty much inedible - we couldn't finish even a half of our respective pad thai's. Not sure if Thai food is Paya's strong suit as their Chinese dishes are better. Won't be ordering any Thai from Paya again.

Their dim sum is excellent! However, i ordered a specific ice cream, got delivered something else. When I ordered it again leaving a note asking explicitly to double-check and to call me if they don't have the type, they have delivered again the wrong one without notification. Not cool.

Writing from my husband's account Never ordering from here again. Last time they got his order wrong but I love their food so gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered for myself tonight. I ordered my usual tofu red curry and egg fried rice. They delivered vegetable. When I phoned the restaurant I was informed they ran out of tofu and that they'd give me 20% off next time I order. There won't be a next order. It's extremely bad customer service to take money without delivering exactly what the customer ordered. They should have phoned informing me they were out of tofu instead of assuming they could replace it with vegetable and take my last £20. If given the option I would've cancelled and ordered elsewhere, which is what I'll be doing from now on. Really so disappointed and fuming.

Had a delivery. The spring onions and cucumber that came with the non-crispy duck were completely dried out. Pancakes were stone cold. The chicken and black bean sauce dish was burned. The satay sauce was missing for the rubber chicken satay. Never again!

My wife, who submitted the review last time, was extremely happy with her meal again. Delivery was promptly an hour after we ordered as they estimated. Driver was polite. My food (duck with black bean sauce and Singapore noodles) but not as great as the first time we ordered. The meat was a little dry and the whole thing didn't taste as fresh, like it had been reheated. I was really disappointed that the restaurant failed to take note of my dietary requirement to hold on the onions for both of my dishes so my wife and had to spend half an hour picking them out before I could (try) to enjoy my meal. We thought we had found out go to takeaway with Paya but may try other places now.

Sooooo delicious. Rich and creamy red curry, generous with the tofu unlike other restaurants, yummy fresh veg. Egg fried rice yummy and cooked perfectly without being greasy. Hubby loved his black bean duck and Singapore noodles as well. They even took note of his request for no onions in his dishes. This is our new go to #1 takeaway place.

So called prawn start was more like deep fried batter with some sort of animal inside served with luminous orange dipping sauce! Main was crispy fried beef, tasted more like plastic.. Avoid avoid avoid

I used to use this place a lot but after three bad meals on the trot I stopped. Then I noticed that it had had a refurb so I tried again. BIG MISTAKE. The food's mediocre at best, it's expensive, the delivery time is way too long and the service is appalling. I emailed them because they got my order wrong and heard nothing back. Basically it failed in every aspect of what a decent take away should provide. Usually, if I don't like somewhere, I just don't do a review but this place was so rubbish and their customer service was so bad that I just had to. I won't be using Paya again and I'd strongly advise others to go elsewhere. It's a shame as it used to be good and I gave them every opportunity to explain and rectify the situation but they clearly don't give a damn. Good Night and Good Riddance.

The food is the worst Chinese takeway I have ever had. Taste is weird. Some food is too salty while others are bland as water. Do not taste fresh either. Had to throw most food out. Such a waste. Avoid at all cost.

Absolutely ridiculous situation from PAYA, Waited 1 hour and a half for my food, just for the order to arrive incomplete and incorrect. The quality of the food they did provide was inedible and stale. I was also told i did not get charged for a desert which they didn't have. That was indeed lies and they did charge me. Safe to say I will never be returning again and I advise everyone else to do the same,

Crispy lamb was not good, very fatty and dry. The satay chicken was superb. The sweet and sour chicken looked as if it has a lot of colouring, it is bright orange/red.
