What a gem. Delightful local restaurant. The hot & sour soup and sesame prawn toast were lovely. Freshly made, well presented and very homely. Comforting. Food took a while to come but worth the wait. So nice. Full of flavour and generous portion size. Big menu of Oriental classics. Reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere. Busy. Not many tables. What I loved the most was the service. So friendly and nice. Kind. Very clean. Lovely staff. I was a solo diner but made to feel very welcome. Would come again to try more dishes. Highly recommend.

Saw this by chance when driving past it and saw a good crowd of people, wasn’t expected much but looked like it had a lot of natives in! The food was very much home cooking style so good portions but lack of presentation. The food was tasty enough but I wouldn’t go back for a sit down meal again as it lacked atmosphere, the toilets were in an abysmal state and there was a hair in my food 🥲. Could be a really nice casual hang out but their menus need some work the drinks menu should be reprinted as couldn’t really read it. Also strongly suggest hair nets, and some urgent maintenance in the toilets as I personally feel like a lot is said about a place that keeps their toilets clean!

If you are a fan of Chinese kitchen, it's a must try place. Their food is awesome and it's a really good for dinner. Duck was good!

The best Chinese cuisine in the neighbourhood. the food is very delicious and the staff is friendly. it has all classic Chinese dishes and the price is reasonable. I'll definitely recommend to more friends.

I ordered a dish of hand-pulled noddles with chicken - really good! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I live nearby so I tried many of their dishes and each dish was an amazing experience. I can't express with words how tasty the food is. Try the handpulled noodles topped with spicy oil and ask the waitress to add chicken, it's my go to meal.

Went to eat for Sunday lunch and wanted to try some of the new dishes on the menu. Be warned the two Aubergine on the menu are both equally terrible. The squid with salt and pepper is so overloaded with msg (chemical flavor enhancer) that will leave you feeling sick. Also the bread (NAN) is disgusting. It is purchased from outside, deep fried and infused with masses of MSG. Unfortunately this place has lost its strategic position and confused about what they are good at.

This is a restaurant which specialises in food from the far west of China, from that part which is inhabited by the Uighur people, who over the last few years have been subjected to the most appalling and prejudicial treatment from the Chinese Government. The food is an interesting synthesis of traditional chinese and central asian cuisine. Lots of spicy, sharp flavours, good textural variations with crispy and soft delights. The cooking was excellent and the staff friendly and cheerful. Handpulled noodles, home made sauces and good sized portions and fair prices. There was a good variety of vegetarian dishes as well as meat based ones. We went during the coronavirus crisis and this restaurant needs more customers and deserves them: we should be supporting good food of this kind.

Excellent dining experience - authentic and delicious cuisine, helpful and friendly service, good price. Not the usual Beijing or Cantonese cuisine. Rather, dishes from Western China - lots of lamb, lots of cumin, aubergine and spices plus super tasty noodles. Highly recommended.

I try to eat here every chance I get. The lamb signature dish with handmade noodles is magical. The BBQ lamb is so yummy. Also love the sweet & sour fish. This place makes handmade noodles fresh everyday. Far better than any other Chinese restaurants I have eaten in. This restaurant deserves to be world famous. Fantastic service and exceptional value for money.

Wonderful Service, if a little muddled as dishes came in random order. However that did not spoil a great experience of Chinese food.

The food we had was delicious and different to what you find in many other restaurants. The salt and pepper aubergine starter was delicious. The tofu main course was also really good - the texture of the tofu was soft and silky. The noodles were fresh and delicious. I’ve never had noodles like it before! The portions were large. The service was friendly. Upstairs in the main restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, however when I visited the toilets they were both unclean. We could see from the track and trace list that we were only the second table in that evening so I don’t think the toilets had been cleaned between lunch and dinner. I found this disappointing as everything else about this restaurant was very good.

Good place to get decent food at reasonable prices. Menu a bit limited, but cooked well and very clean. Staff welcoming and helpful, with excellent service. Would definitely come again!

Best big-plate chicken I ever had. Amazingly fresh and well seasoned. I also talked to the boss and got to know that he is from Xinjiang. It is a open kitchen setting so you can actually see how food is prepared. Enjoyed the observing.
