I haven't been here in years & now I remember why. A friend was visiting & was captivated with the location so we went for dinner. The food was good as usual - and as it should be for the price! But the service is dismal & unfriendly. We felt like we were a burden to the staff who once the food arrived just completely ignored us. We had to finally get up from the table & ask for the bill after sitting with dirty dishes & empty glasses for over 20 minutes. We would have had more drinks & then dessert & coffee but no one came to the table again. A different server then offered us free desserts but by that time I really just wanted to get out of there. Certainly won't be going back !

Absolutely not recommended if you are alone. I had reserved beforehand but you are made to feel like you are not wanted here. Food and drinks were placed on the table as I walked past, so I had to stretch to get to them and the staff rushed me. When they cleared away the dishes from the food, the bill was brought to me straight away without asking if I wanted anything else and I was told to pay. When I went to the toilet briefly, things were still on the table and the drink was still almost full, when I came back the table was cleared and set for new customers and my things were simply pushed away against the wall. So it couldn't be more unfriendly and the food wasn't particularly good either, only the spring rolls were tasty, for which the prices are clearly too high.

Visited with my daughter. A floating restaurant with a lovely location on the canal. Fast friendly service with excellent food (Salt & Pepper Squid was exceptional). Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely return.

Great customer service by all staff, food was excellent.

The location alone makes it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal, with stunning views that add to the overall experience. The food was pretty nice—well-prepared and tasty. However, I found a piece of hair in my dish. While this was disappointing, the situation was handled very professionally. The manager quickly addressed the problem and offered a fair compensation, which I appreciated.

Loved every minute, bite, taste, everything! Highly recommend!! The food is FANTASTIC! We met Chris and it was like having dinner at your friends house. It was a truly remarkable evening. We will be back!!

Celebrated a birthday here last night everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, service was friendly and the restaurant has a great vibe, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Lady working in the lower deck is very rude. She don’t know how to talk with customers. Whenever i tried to speak to her she replied rudely but with other customers she was talking nicely. Basically she is very racist. Other staff is also not welcoming so whoever wants to be treated disrespectfully they can visit this place once. Price is also very high. Definitely this was my first and last visit. Food was okay and atmosphere is also not bad.

Dined here on Saturday evening atmosphere was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful food was exceptional will definitely be revisiting soon

Lovely location, inside is clean and nicely decorated. However wasn't overly keen on the food. I had a beef curry with chicken fried rice. While the curry was tasty, it was very small portion and cost £15.50. My chicken fried rice was £9.50, yet barely had any chicken in it and was really lacking flavour. So a small portion of curry and a huge plate of bland rice, didn't really balance the meal out. Some.if the staff were a bit blunt and abrupt at times. While it was a nice lunch out, don't think I'd go back again.

Wow what can I say but just absolutely fantastic . The food was amazing and the staff brilliant. If your anywhere near this place you got to go .

We waited 45 minutes for soft drinks and over an hour for tap water. This wait was all before being served bland and lukewarm food. I hope they didn’t serve Matthew McConaughey this food in The Gentlemen.

My go to Chinese, but they never send the frigging sauces ordered to go with dishes. Pay attention send the sauces.

Ordered a dish that came and really wasn’t as expected, served in a thick white gravy with grey looking chicken. Politely told server that it wasn’t what we expected. They proceeded to talk about us, laugh, look at us. When the insisted she told us what we ordered, she said she would get up CCTV. We left straight away. Truly an atrocious place. Overpriced and basic food with rude staff.

Good lunch today June 29 in a great location. Spoilt by a loud, obnoxious and yelling table next to us of two couples and two small kids. The wait staff said nothing to them probably because they were ordering champagne. Disgraceful and disappointing. Customers should all be treated respectfully. A word to them to keep it down would have been appreciated by many customers. You can do a lot of business with one table but lose a lot of other customers and all the people they speak to, Loved the Szechuan shredded beef and another spicy chicken dish. But overall, poor experience

Very disappointed as this meal was for my yearly wedding anniversary. Do not choose the 45.00 per person menu. The food is awful on this menu. There are also other reviews. The boat and atmosphere is.nice but let down severely by the menu.

The food was ok and was served promptly. One of the waitresses was absolutely rude and rude. I don't expect any kindness in these hectic times, but I do expect respect towards another person. A boundary has clearly been crossed here. There are so many better Chinese restaurants in London and also much worse ones. You can come here for the view and the ambience and get served quickly.

There nice view from the outside very iconic and isolated place for a Chinese restaurant have not yet tried their food so would bot comment on that yet but maybe next time.

The food here seemed to be reheated and unfortunately I got really bad food poisoning the next day and was off work for a week. When I looked up the food hygiene rating I was shocked to see it was only 2 out of 5! Such a shame as the venue is lovely...

The food is disgusting and extremely overpriced. Especially, the set menu at £45 is a big scam: not much to eat, low quality, and definitely not a good representation of chinese food. If you want ok or good real chinese food, don't go there! 😡

We have visited many Times and it has become one of our favourite eating experiences, the staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating regarding minor additions or changes to our favourite dishes. Very pretty place, food is quite Westernised tho so don't expect mainland or hk texture/flavour. Good selection of tea with good iron pots, and dumpling basket was nice so I recommend. Noodles were a bit dull.

Attended the restaurant with my family for Mother's Day we all had a great time. Although it took the waitress a long time to take our order due to a shortage of staff The quality of service was outstanding and the food was exceptional.

An unusual restaurant on the Regents Park Canal by London Zoo. A very nice Chinese restaurant, good food and service too. Not inexpensive and usually very busy....good for a special evening out.

Rather surprised to read the negative reviews. We spotted this unusual barge restaurant on the canal - it looked nice and was warm and welcoming inside. The waitress was delightful, the beer perfectly chilled and the food delicious. We didn’t get the duck as it seemed pricy but prawns, chicken and pad Choi were all good. Appreciated the fast service as my friend had a train to catch.

Staff were amazing very accommodation to my allergies. The food was delicious. The restaurant had a very nice ambience.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my father’s 60th birthday at Feng Shang Princess, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was perfect for a special occasion, with elegant decor and a cozy atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Special thank you to Karan and Chris for their impeccable service ❤️

For a special occasion I highly recommend this place the service was wonderful and very entertaining in the right way .The food was excellent and we all had the set menu and I must say the fact that they happily swapped dishes on the menu made it all the more pleasurable not all places are so accommodating. It's on the higher end of prices but worth it for a special occasion. My only criticism is the £4.50 for diet coke and £5.00 for coke zero given everything else totally unwarranted.

Last night 27th January we had a very enjoyable night at this unique Chinese restaurant. We were a group of 11 celebrating a milestone birthday and had chosen the set menu which works out excellent value for money. From the onset the staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could swap a couple of dishes on the set menu. The food was extremely tasty and very large portions and the staff that looked after us particular Chris went above and beyond to make our evening very memorable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant especially for a special occasion.

Food wasnt cooked fresh. Just heated up in microwave. We placed our order and not even 2mins later they came out with 3 dishes partially heated.My duck wrap was very dry and cold. I had to ask for it to be heated up and my main was also cold. There was no sweet and sour sauce in my daughters dish. She had to ask for more so she could mix her sweet and sour chicken with the bowl of rice. Bottled drinks were warm. I asked for service charge to be removed from bill. They refused, said they need to pay staff. I couldnt be bothered to argue as it was my daughters birthday.

There is nothing else near it, in terms of bars and restaurants so it feels like a secret and secluded spot in the heart of London. It is dim lit, cosy and on the water! Perfect for a couple dining out. The service is excellent, staff are incredibly friendly. The Chinese is good, not as good as somewhere like Singapore garden but still very respectable Chinese.

The restaurant is unique in every way. It’s so attractive to look at from the inside to the outside. The food was wonderful, service very quick. However, I didn’t find the staff very friendly, no smiles in sight which made me feel a little uncomfortable which was such a shame. We ordered from the set menu, we wanted Set A and we received Set B, which wasn’t a big issue it just meant that we were missing a dish, when we mentioned this we were told that we had ordered Set B, at no point did we mention Set B but we just swept it under the carpet as we felt that this would’ve been made an issue from the sharp response that we got, all they had to do was bring us the additional food which was the duck pancakes which I shouldn’t have imagined would’ve been too much of a problem for them. We arrived very early in the evening too so it wasn’t like they had been serving all evening and were tired. Sadly, for this reason I wouldn’t go back as when I go out to eat I like to feel comfortable and wanted, and we were not made to feel like that!

Atmospheric, candle lit and classic Pagoda on the canal with waterside views from two floors, and a cute bridge to the door. Took my mum on a new years date tonight and we had a lovely time. The salt and pepper squid and prawn toast was sooo good. Seemed pricey but the food was generous, fresh and super yummy so fair enough ! Great place for special occasions 🤍

Celebrated my Daughter’s 30th birthday this December. It’s one of her favourite restaurants after we spent her 21st there. The service and the food remains exceptional. Thank you for an amazing service the food, the cake, atmosphere and staff were all wonderful. The Crispy Beef is to fight for, literally get your own portion don’t share. This place is equally beautiful to dine in summer. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

We booked a table for 13 for my 50th. What a great choice. The food was brilliant, every choice hit the spot, phenomenal. Thank you to the chef for keeping up with the constant orders that were sent in over the two and a half hours. The service was smooth and seamless. The drinks kept coming when asked and even with the 13 very animated guests and their demands nothing was missed. The front of house were great, relaxed and very attentive and absolutely no mistakes though out the afternoon. If you want a lovely meal or an occasional get together with some great food, please, give this place a try. (I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere as the atmosphere is also what you create..) I've been here a few times. Went this time as a group of eight. We ordered a number of dishes which we mostly shared. I have a severe allergy to fish and the staff are very clear about which dishes I should not eat and I’ve never had a reaction. I find the service excellent and always enjoy the food. Payment is easy even when we're paying our portion each, the staff accommodate that and will take multiple credit cards and/or cash. I'm disabled but find the place accessible and the staff helpful.

Great place, I stuck with the vegetarian options even though I was told the food was halal. It wasn’t very convincing to me that the food was halal. Either way, the staff were very friendly and it was a great atmosphere.

Got turned away for having a wheelchair

I did expect more as flavour and taste of Chinese food. Arrangements of the boat as a restaurant wery catchy idea. Turns as local attractions. Clean place. Toilets spotless smells nice.

We arrived earlier than our booking but they still accommodate us with a table right away. The service was good and the food was amazing. I had always passed this restaurant which is located right beside London zoo. Great location and would definitely return as they had all my favourites on the menu and more. Didn’t have a chance to check out the dessert menu as I was full so maybe next time.

Sumptuous food but extremely poor when packing. Today is the second time items were missed. No chilli oil in the bag and no remorse when called. Complete waste of money when condiments are missing. A few weeks ago, I ordered a chicken crispy noodle and got a veg one - didn’t get the refund either. Better to avoid ordering via Deliveroo but a good place to eat in if you like Chinese.

The decor is very attractive and the food was very tasty. They do the only good won ton soup in London, it's Hong Kong quality except for too many types of veg in it. Our Singapore noodles were excellent and the mango puddings were an interesting change from egg tarts. The only letdown is the limited dim sum menu.

Great ambience, food price was actually reasonable considering how nice this place is, you don’t have to wait a really long time for the food to arrive and lots of parking available if you go in the evening. Customer service and food portions could have been better. Great for a one time visit for the experience !

Went here on a Friday night for my mums birthday. On arrival we were left standing until someone noticed we were there and then walked off. Once seated we had to ask for a drink. Half of the stuff we wanted to order from the menu was not available. Service was awful, very slow and no warmth at all, customers treated like an inconvenience. Appetisers we’re £30 for 2 people and you get one-two tiny pieces of each thing. Again we had to ask if we could order our mains. Restaurant itself looks nice and is in a unique setting, however when it’s dark you can’t even tell you’re on a boat, just become a generic restaurant. Have had much better Chinese food from an average local takeaway. Considering we paid £110 for 2 people it was extremely disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We went here for my birthday as was on my bucket list! I wanted to ignore some of the reviews as some people can be a bit oer the top but now I wish I had listened! When we arrived we were left standing by the door even though we were seen ( the place was not busy at all with only 2 tables occupied) We had to call someone over to ask of we can order a drink, items were not available from the menu which I had tried to order, no one came back to take mains order as I said I needed a cople of minutes to choose another dish as 2 of what I chose initially thry did not have. We had our starters then once finished had to call them over again to order a main. The food was nothing at all special amd we even left some, my local takeaway tastes much better. The atmosphere was cold, no one came to the table unless they were called over, the staff looked miserable and the older women with bobbed hair cut was quite rude to the many drivers who came to collet for delivery telling them to go wait outside. It's a shame as the boat/surroundings is lovely but unfortunately we will not be returning or recommending.

We had a great dinner, food was tasty. But at the end of dinner we were waiting with a 3 months old baby for 9 min for a taxi to pick us up and got horrible treatment from the hostess- she was rude, unwelcoming, and at a certain point even told us to wait outside in 9 degrees with a baby. Very rude and disrespectful. Shame to ruin a nice dinner with an experience like that

Best about this place it is a boat and way how was created as restaurant. Food I did expect more as a choice.

We have been many times over the years. We booked a table for lunch today. We arrived and were seated. We then waited 25 mins without managing to even order water or a drink, let alone food. They were too busy re-laying departed tables to attend to hungry customers. So we left and headed elsewhere.

Stumbled across this floating restaurant as we walked along the canal from Little Venice to Camden Town and had the most delicious lunch served by prompt and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit! Excellent location, excellent food quality and presentation who could ask for more! Highly recommend

Amazing dining experience “onboard” the Feng Shang Princess! Popped in after visiting London Zoo. The restaurant was starting to get busy but they found us a table despite the fact that we didn’t have a reservation. Delicious food and friendly service. This restaurant has a beautiful location and the food tastes ok. However, the SERVICE IS AWFUL!! We went here for my Fiance bday and had this places reserved weeks ago.If you are going to celebrate an event, please do NOT go to this place. There is a waitress with short red bob haircut she is extremely rude. As soon as we walked in, the woman was rude and did not seem very welcoming. When we ordered the starters she shouted "WHAT DO YOU WANT". We then ordered the udon chilli prawn dish and only had 3 prawns in the whole dish. The rude waitress then advised they cannot do anything about this and said this is standard. We spent £80 at this place but tbh it was the worst experience ever, never going back and really could do with a refund!! Appalling ruined the whole experience. Please AVOID.

One staff member was very rude and didn't feel comfortable, felt very rushed for my birthday and of which was local by any means, 50 minutes from start to finish even when asking for a gap. Very over priced bit they know people will pay as a bit different.

I came for my birthday, because of the train we arrived late but we called ahead and were told that was alright so long as we came by 10pm to order we arrived 10 minute to 10pm. We gave our order straight away. The place is much smaller than depicted. There were two waiters, the guy was nice, but the waitress with a dyed red bob was extremely rude! At 10:20pm -10:25pm the music for the restaurant was turned off by the waitress and by then we were given the bill. By 10:40pm the lights were turned all the way up to signal for us to leave. The food was delicious and the location was lovely as well as the boats itself, but that was overshadowed by the low quality of service. The experience was atrocious overall. I'll never come again unless that waitress is no longer employeed there. I don't recommend.
