The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Amber Valley East Midlands

We ordered from the restaurant in February 2022 as it has a reputation for being one of the best chinese takeaways in the area, and we weren't disappointed - the ribs were some of the best I've tasted and the kung pow chicken was served with generous pieces of chicken breast and lightly toasted cashews - delicious! The owner was friendly and we had a nice chat while I was waiting for my food. There's no online website or menu currently but it's worth a look if you're in the area!

We've struggled to find a Chinese in the area which delivers food with flavour. We stumbled across this place after asking for recommendations on a local group. Whilst it's in the middle of a housing estate, the food is good quality and tastes good. The prices seem pretty reasonable

We ordered delivery for a far few people and the delivery was prompt and the food was delicious especially the rice! Thanks for the yummy start to a great evening

Superb! We had a special celebration here with the Wedding of my Son and his lovely bride. May I say, the venue is lovely, extremely presentable and the precision of efficiency in the flow of activities through the days events was seamless and flawless. May I compliment the staff very much in helping to make this day such a special one as each and every one of them were professional, efficient and couldn't do enough to help!

Excellent food. Best around for taste and freshly cooked Chinese. Price is good too.

Thank you for the excellent food and service, delivered right on time. We pre-ordered for eight people (four couples) a day in advance and requested that orders be packaged per couple for convenience. Nothing was too much trouble for them; they even calculated the cost for each couple. The food arrived piping hot and all our friends remarked on how delicious it was.

Fast, efficient, friendly service. Everything was lovely, very tasty. Some free items were included with the delivery.

This is our go to Chinese. Lovely special chow mein, I have that every time. They also do fish n chips, again they are really nice. Can get a bit busy at times.

We have had the most appalling service and now they won’t even answer the phone. Please don’t purchase from here. I have also reported them to the food hygiene council, so let’s see what happens then.

A 2 hour wait when the web site advised 60 minutes is unacceptable. Food - taste wise - was not quite up to the usual high standard. Seems things are slipping so we won't be going back.

Alfull large spring roll.. Just full of beansprouts one prawn!! Poor in everything.. After spending £20 no free prawn crackers. Have to spend £24 poor in everything.. AVOID..

Such a shame but its done downhill badly! I have been coming for years and the last year its nose dived. Arrived at the restaurant at 5.50pm on a Thursday and didnt get our food until 7.20pm. Only one side open. Very quiet, so expected to be served quickly. Food cold on arrival. Service very slow. I have decided to not go again...... must be improved!

1st time trying this place. There was Not a lot of flavour in sweet and sour chicken and prawns and lots of onion square peices mixed in. The salt and chili crispy chicken was hard and not the best but the dogs crunched them up.

Ordered at 6.50 told it would be 30/45 minutes and still no food at 8.10 phoned to ask they tell us he left 15 minutes ago and won’t be long, phoned again at 8.30 to be told he’s had to take another order because he couldn’t find our address 😅. Food arrives at 8.45 COLD and not an even what we ordered! phoned again to tell them we want our money and the driver to collect the food (and his just eat bag that he left at our front door😂) very rude young girl on the phone being cheeky lying telling us she packed the food and knows it’s right! Never in my life experienced something so bad. Disgusting!

The Best food in the area in my opinion , won’t go anywhere else
