We ordered from the restaurant in February 2022 as it has a reputation for being one of the best chinese takeaways in the area, and we weren't disappointed - the ribs were some of the best I've tasted and the kung pow chicken was served with generous pieces of chicken breast and lightly toasted cashews - delicious! The owner was friendly and we had a nice chat while I was waiting for my food. There's no online website or menu currently but it's worth a look if you're in the area!

We've struggled to find a Chinese in the area which delivers food with flavour. We stumbled across this place after asking for recommendations on a local group. Whilst it's in the middle of a housing estate, the food is good quality and tastes good. The prices seem pretty reasonable

Yet another visit for the Rotary awards celebrating young people overcoming various obstacles in their lives and achieving goals. Two course lunch was served quickly and efficiently and was very enjoyable.

We went to the Lotus Lounge on a recommendation from a friend so expectations were high. Sadly, for us ‘slightly below average ‘ is about as much as we can appraise this place.. right from the get-go with booking a table. Emails sent, text messages sent, voicemails left.. you can only book a table if you’re lucky enough to speak on the phone.. and that’s not so easy to achieve. So, our table.. cramped in right in front of the bar.. ok, it’s busy but if there was ever an opportunity to make diners feel that they’re not part of it, this was it.. added to the (albeit attentive) mature (not old) waitress was so surly that I wouldn’t have needed any ice in my Pepsi Max for eternity.. it was like being served by Ailsa from Frozen on a bad hormone day.. needless to say we didn’t feel so welcome. All you can eat buffet where you order dishes off the menu, as much as you like but restricted to only 4 dishes at any one time between 4 of you… that were portions big enough to feed a group of Liliputions on a diet. I’m not joking, I wish I’d taken a picture.. we ordered the Aromatic Lamb and it looked like the centre of the plate had been garnished with a burnt centipede.. it’s not all you can eat, it’s ’as little as we can get away with feeding you’.. and the chicken and sweetcorn soup was really dreadful.. in fairness you would take one look at me to know that I am not fussy about food (!), I’m really not but this soup had no stock.. it was glutenised water with mashed sweetcorn, egg and chicken bits in.. I promise you, it was bad. However, the taste of the hot and sour soup was different league.. much for the better. Don’t get me wrong, generally the food was nice and it’s clearly a popular place but we won’t be returning, there are too many better options to eat out.

Apologise for bad review but definitely deserve! Called up to order to be told my normal order cost had gone up by 3 pounds lack of communication and terrible English skills ! When questioned he told me to just leave hung the phone up how rude ! I went to different Chinese and paid 6 pounds more than quoted... throughly enjoyed every mouthfuls sadly to say I wouldn't return to this after service and reliability and then the food I thought was good from what we've just eaten from new moon banging no comparison give them a try you won't be sorry!

We've ordered from here three times. The first time it was nice, ordered on a Monday so didn't wait too long. Today, the soup was almost congealing, not like I've had before and even though it said our order would be 1 hour and a half, it was 2 hours 5mins to be delivered. Disappointing. The cooked veggies and duck pancakes are nice but easy to not get wrong.

The all you can eat is great, there is plenty of choice. We love the starters and they were great as always. They bought so much food out, we had loads to eat. The staff are all friendly however wish they were a little more attentive as it was hard to get their attention for another drink or if you want to order anything else (which i suppose is due to it being an all you can eat) It was my sisters birthday and we bought a cake. Which they bought out and all sang happy birthday to her which was just lovely!! The lady who owns it is always so kind We also think it's great value for money considering the quality and quantity!

Ordered at 6.50 told it would be 30/45 minutes and still no food at 8.10 phoned to ask they tell us he left 15 minutes ago and won’t be long, phoned again at 8.30 to be told he’s had to take another order because he couldn’t find our address 😅. Food arrives at 8.45 COLD and not an even what we ordered! phoned again to tell them we want our money and the driver to collect the food (and his just eat bag that he left at our front door😂) very rude young girl on the phone being cheeky lying telling us she packed the food and knows it’s right! Never in my life experienced something so bad. Disgusting!
