The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Amber Valley East Midlands

We ordered from the restaurant in February 2022 as it has a reputation for being one of the best chinese takeaways in the area, and we weren't disappointed - the ribs were some of the best I've tasted and the kung pow chicken was served with generous pieces of chicken breast and lightly toasted cashews - delicious! The owner was friendly and we had a nice chat while I was waiting for my food. There's no online website or menu currently but it's worth a look if you're in the area!

We've struggled to find a Chinese in the area which delivers food with flavour. We stumbled across this place after asking for recommendations on a local group. Whilst it's in the middle of a housing estate, the food is good quality and tastes good. The prices seem pretty reasonable

We ordered delivery for a far few people and the delivery was prompt and the food was delicious especially the rice! Thanks for the yummy start to a great evening

We chose the takeaway option, mushroom soup, house special chow mein, salt pepper chicken and crispy shredded chilli beef. Very nice service, which was very helpful in choosing dishes. we were pleasantly surprised by the taste of the dishes, which were wonderfully delicious. we recommend visiting this place. we will definitely come back to eat inside, the atmosphere of this place is phenomenal (there is also an option to eat as much as you like).

Superb! We had a special celebration here with the Wedding of my Son and his lovely bride. May I say, the venue is lovely, extremely presentable and the precision of efficiency in the flow of activities through the days events was seamless and flawless. May I compliment the staff very much in helping to make this day such a special one as each and every one of them were professional, efficient and couldn't do enough to help!

The best Chinese takeaway in Amber Valley and I've tried most of them! Never had a bad meal, excellent quality, customer service, reliability and consistency. Would NOT go anywhere else at all! 5 star 🌟

Alfull large spring roll.. Just full of beansprouts one prawn!! Poor in everything.. After spending £20 no free prawn crackers. Have to spend £24 poor in everything.. AVOID..

First time ordered from here so didn’t know what to expect. Everything was perfect, delicious and tasty. Came hot and quick.It was a large order and they delivered everything. 5 stars!!

This is our go to Chinese. Lovely special chow mein, I have that every time. They also do fish n chips, again they are really nice. Can get a bit busy at times.

This place has been such an excellent little find for us. Booked a table last minutefor my partner & little one, booking was hassle free. We were met by a warm, welcoming staff, and the place has a nice warm Asian decor / feel to it. The food has been absolutely delightful. Fresh, portions plentiful and extremely tasty. I would go as far as to say this has now become my favourite Chinese locally. Thank you for a wonderful first experience, we WILL be back

2 hour delivery on a Wednesday, no explanation, not acceptable

1st time trying this place. There was Not a lot of flavour in sweet and sour chicken and prawns and lots of onion square peices mixed in. The salt and chili crispy chicken was hard and not the best but the dogs crunched them up.

We had a takaway from here as it had great reviews yet the chicken in the dishes was uneatable it was like slimy tasteless rubber didn’t taste like chicken at all, spoilt the meal thrown at least 50% away & at over£55 for our takaway is quite a lot wasted,

This is the worst takeaway meal ever, what was supposed to be beef was full on gristle that was totally impossible to to get teeth into let alone chew, no sign of any beef just something that could have been hard plastic, seriously considering taking it to Trading Standards,

Really frustrating. Food is lovely and obviously because of that they’re very popular. Ordered online for an hour delivery, now they have called to say they’re so busy it will be at least an hour and a half! Please don’t prioritise the walk ins over deliveries that have already paid and are relying on you! Won’t be using again which is a shame.
