The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

First time we’ve ordered from this takeaway but shall definitely order again as food was excellent! Close to home. It would be great if they started delivering at some point in the future.

We are staying in Rhoscolyn, about4/5 miles from Holyhead and wanted a Chinese take away. Going on local recommendations we chose Green Island. I rang the the night before we arrived and asked if they would deliver to us The very polite lady that I spoke to didn't know our address but said that the driver would so we ordered. The meal arrived on time, was hot and delicious. The driver was also so polite and friendly. It was really good value for the money with large portions . Highly recommended.

Called in Saturday night, ordered four various dishes, and as always, absolutely first class. I live in the next village that has two Chinese takeaways that don't even come close, worth the travel every time. Everyone enjoyed, and we will definitely return.

Hands down the best Roast meats Hong Kong style in the north of England, the little beauty is hidden away in Preston, Lancashire. The roast is done daily and is the best tasting duck and belly pork I’ve eaten in a long time. The belly pork is so crispy that if you have any leftover and take home, should you microwave it to reheat ( oven reheating is best) it is still crispy, doesn’t go soggy like majority of belly pork from restaurants all over the uk. The duck has authentic marinade that makes it mouth watering, they serve many HK delicacies that you can try, ranging from inards to fresh vegetables… the menu is great, the place is more like a cafe and has limited seating, they are constantly full all day everyday so advance booking is recommended. You know is good food when orientals done there, I kid you not, everyone eats there…. I travel 90 minutes by car just to sample the goods…. Definitely worth the drive even if motorways close and force you to detour to get home… amazing place, run by amazing couple… so kind and generous….. this is in my top 5 places to eat within the uk… big thumbs up

We have had takeaway from Bao Bao 3/4 times since moving to the area and each time have been so impressed with the delicious, freshly cooked food. I am gluten free and I called to double check my meal options (even tough the menu is clearly labelled with icons to show food allergens). They were extremely helpful in answering my query. I don’t enjoy regular Chinese takeaway food which always to me tastes greasy and unhealthy. This is nothing like that, it’s fresh, you can distinguish what you’re eating and tastes amazing! Highlights - crispy seaweed and sticky crispy beef (served with Kung Po sauce) although last time they were unfortunately out of beef so they recommended chicken strips instead with the Kung Po sauce and this was just as delicious, thick chicken strips which were very succulent. It does appear to be slightly more expensive than you’re traditional take away, but it is absolutely worth it (after all why pay for something you don’t enjoy, when you can pay a little more for incredible food you’ll love). And as a huge bonus all food is ethically sourced and is served in recyclable cardboard/compostable packaging.

¡Un lugar increíble! He estado allí dos veces ahora, tanto con amigos como con la familia y cada vez la comida ha sido fabulosa y fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal. No podría recomendar lo suficiente!

I feel I have to review again as we have just been for the 3rd time and it really didn't disappoint, it was just as excellent this time as the first! Yanny and his wife make the perfect team, Yanny front of house and his wife in the kitchen, thankyou for another great night

My son had wanted to go all week as he had learned about Hot Pot dishes in Japan in school. So we went there in the middle of the afternoon where no one else seemed to eat lunch/dinner. We were met by a very nice host who explained the system to us and as we were two adults and a child (12 years) recommended that we only made 2 hot pots as this would be plenty of food. We picked the ingredients and they were carried off to cook. Not very long after they arrived steaming hot in two big pots and it tasted delicious. I had never tried it before and it was a wonderful and great new experience which wasn't very expensive either. The Chinese cabbage was the biggest surprise. Who could know it would taste that good!! As the host realized that my son was into One Piece, he even put on the sound track from the Anime. Can highly recommend this place.

This has been our regular takeaway now for many years and it's everything you want it to be. Spotlessly clean, very friendly, reasonably priced and most importantly, the food is excellent. I know people who travel miles to use this takeaway as it's so good and so dependable. I can honestly say I've never had a bad dish and between myself, family & friends we've covered most of the menu! The benchmark by which all others are judged.

It's a shame, but our well loved local Chinese Takeaway has closed for business. Johnny and his wife have retired. We now await to see if it will reopen in another guise.

My friends took me to the 🌞T Lounge today for lunch and what an amazing place it is. All food and drinks are expertly and passionately prepared by the owner . We shared the pork and spring onion Bengs to start followed by the Tempura chicken🐔 breast strips and jasmine rice with spicy chips 🍟on the side all of which were cooked to order and were so flavoursome. The portions were more than ample and left us all full we had to resist the temptation of the lovely plum tart The owner is such a lovely, warm friendly person which is reflected in the decor and atmosphere. Well worth a visit as it will not dissapoitment

A great takeaway with lots to choose from. Their favourite phrase is “ 10 minutes” and that’s all it takes unless you go at peak times. Staff are reliable and aim to please. They all work hard here. The food is hot and delicious and portions are generous , try the prawn toasts which are massive.

We have been using this take away for 25 years. Never had a less than excellent meal. Fresh tasty and outstanding service. Wish they were a sit in restaurant

So I haven't physically bene in the building but I've ordered from them a few times for home delivery and OH MY GOD I'm obsessed. The dumplings are so so good, my favourite are the chilli pork ones and the spring rolls are to die for. I'm telling all my friends about them because this business NEEDS TO STAY OPEN for the sake of my dumping cravings lol
