Had a take away from here tonight and it was 💯 gorgeous. Excellent quality ingredients and piping hot. Would definitely recommend as il be going again.

Tried this takeaway when it first opened and have not been anywhere else since. The food is always hot and yummy. Especially enjoy the salt and pepper chilli chicken pieces. Try it and you will not be disappointed! :D

Ordered different dishes for 4 people, prawn toast, crispy beef, chow mein (which isn't actually listed on the menu), beef mushroom with egg fried rice, and beef satay. Firstly, there are no prawns in the sesame prawn toast, its just fried bread with sesame seeds. The chow mein was very dry with very little sauce. The beef mushroom and the fried rice were both very bland. The beef satay was ordered with no vegetables, but was prepared with veg, so that all had to be fished out before it could be eaten. Out of 4 people, nobody ate all of their meal and there was a lot of waste. Everybody agreed that they would not order from here again, we will stick to our usual takeaway. Sorry Favourite, but you're nowhere near our favourite!

Stumbled upon this place by mistake. The staff are fantastic,and the place is immaculate. Sat inside for a meal which was one of the best chinese meals I've had..for less than a take away would cost. Highly recommend

Myself and my friends went along because my brother had been to the Favourite and he recommended the place to us. First impression was how clean the place is, white tables and white leather chairs, only 6 seating tables but enough for us. The menu offers a good choice, I had the Thai chicken which was a large portion. It was the best Thai chicken curry I've had for a long time. The staff are very friendly and happy to change menu items. The price is also very competitive. They also sell bottled beers! We enjoyed our first visit and planning our next visit before we left. Easily the best Chinese restaurant/takeaway in Newcastle.

First time we’ve tried tonight , beautiful noodle meal beef was so tender and hubby had the set menu b and they were kind enough to change rice to noodles. Definitely will be going back x

Had an absolutely beautiful takeaway from here, our first time afer a recommendation. The food was hot, beautifully cooked, flavoursome. Will definitely be going back again & again.

Ordered twice...once in August, once in September...food delivered promptly and hot both times. Ordered a good selection of starters, mains & sides each time. Everything was really tasty, meat is lean and the beef in oyster sauce is exceptionally good. All the food is cooked really well and not greasy. Free jelly, prawn crackers and pop with order as ordered for a family. And don't forget to order the gorgeous prawn toast. Wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese food.

Visited twice in one month, once a takeaway and once to sit in and both times had both excellent service and really nice food. Freshly cooked, not greasy and the dim sum is to die for. Pricing is very good and will be my one and only chinese moving forward

Decided to give Favourite Chinese a try and really glad we did! Great value food, tasted amazing and plenty of it. The staff are extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. This is a new take-away and I really hope it does well. We will definitely be going back for more! Be aware, they don't take card payments at the moment, only cash. Not sure if this will change in future but it's not really an issue. Thanks for a fantastic meal! 😋

Having ordered from here on Saturday night I can say the food did not disappoint. We ordered 4 mains, 2 starters and 2 sides. The food came with free prawn crackers and jelly which was a lovely added extra. All the food was lovely and came in good portions. There is a great choice on the menu and as someone who can be quite fussy with Chinese food I would definately recommend and will be ordering here again.
