Fantastic small garden centre & café in Tywyn. Phoned up the day before to see if they had any buddleia, and the man on the phone couldn't have been more helpful and remembered me the following day when i swung by to buy some plants. Really friendly Welsh service with a smile and a joke. Small little café inside - all reasonable prices and very clean and tidy. Free parking outside. Tucked away in an industrial estate to the east of the town, but very easy to find. Highly recommended!

Can't speak highly enough of this lively, lovely little place. So welcoming, such perfectly done food, mix of friendly faces, excellent service, quality produce, really cannot go wrong. Sounds daft but someone in the kitchen really knows how to turn out a perfect fried egg - and the bacon is right back to old school, dry cure, thick, crispy but tender. Simple stuff done to perfection. Delicious all round. (Sorry no photos but we hoovered everything too fast)

First visit to proper gander in tywyn. Not very impressed too be honest. The menu needs a bit more excitement. Firstly the starter I had was a mackerel fillet. It came as mackerel mush with whole peppercorns inside. So was tough to eat. It does not say on the menu that it was going to be pureed etc... Secondly I had a rib eye steak. The steak had a lot of inedible fat. I love a rib eye and choose this option whenever I have a steak so I understand that there is fat running through. But when you have to spit out big chunks it makes the experience disappointing. Especially when it's £30. Finally my wife sicked up her food as soon as she got back to the caravan. She had pasta and chorizo croquettes. We paid full price and didn't mention anything when we were there as the place was empty and times are hard but had to leave a review as it needs a shake up too be honest. Bill came to £105. Bottle of wine Chorizo croquettes Mackerel mush Rib eye steak Pasta main Pasta kids

as I walked past this place so many times & I'd never been in until now. We had a lovely bit of breakfast here, as well as the toast .... you get fried bread too, what a treat that was. Oh & a cuppa with the breakfast at no extra cost either. It was a good price & much cheaper than anywhere else, & there was just the right amount of food, not too much, not too little. Shame it's selling now I've just discovered it after many years of both living & visiting Tywyn.

Always had a lovely Sunday lunch meal here, went with the family for Mother’s Day and food was fantastic as always. Food beautifully cooked and piping hot, large portion sizes even for granddaughter. Had 2 courses main and pudding, nice that the pudding wasn’t pushed on us until we were ready since the meal was very filling. Would definitely recommend, thanks to all the staff at the Whitehall your food is fabulous

We loved this place. Not only were all the staff really lovely but the other customers were a great laugh! We had an evening meal and breakfast and they were both PERFECT. Our room was lovely and I want to visit again. And then again. I think what I might have loved best was the soft sheep noise in the background.
