I am sorry to have to give this review but here goes. Arrived with family for a late afternoon meal. Staff looked disinterested as they handed us the menus. We took a seat by the window which was covered in thick black mould. The table opposite had two full carveries abandoned with drinks..was this an omen to leave? I wish we had, the carvery my Uncle had was inedible, the Yorkshire Puddings were as hard as stone. Our sandwiches had dry meat, stale dry ciabatta to contend with. We should have complained but the staff seemed to have disappeared from sight. What an utter disappointment, you certainly have let down Toby Carvery's reputation.

Had lunch here on Saturday whilst staying with friends in the local area. Nice traditional old pub. Barmaid was nice and polite, gave us a table and left us for a few moments to choose from quite an extensive list. I opted for the giant Yorkshire with turkey. It was ok, could have done with some veg not just peas. No desserts served
