My boyfriend and I popped in here after a muddy walk for a hot drink and a cake. A lovely, peaceful cafe with comfortable furniture - we sat in two large armchairs and were able to sit back, relax and listen to the buzz around us. I had a large hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream while Thomas had a tea. I had a black forest brownie which really was delightful while my companion enjoyed the honeycomb crunch. The service was excellent and staff really friendly. We also enjoyed browsing the mini shop. Lovely place, far better and more reasonable prices than the likes of Fika North down the road.

Been going for around 4 year now and always enjoyed it, Alex always takes time and puts care into the food I've never once been disappointed, definitely recommend.

This was our second visit - excellent both times so clearly consistent! The food is really high quality, nicely presented and fairly priced (not cheap - but you get what you pay for) Lovely staff with quick service. We managed to resist the takeaway brownies this time... but it was difficult, as we remembered how good they were!

The best cooked breakfast in the area. Well worth a detour from the mediocre cafes on Town Street. Sausages and bacon use good quality meat. Hash browns are home made. At one time the service was a bit slow but it seems pretty quick nowadays. Food has always been great either way.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, fantastic with the refurb, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is too much of an issue. Lesha especially is great, always knows what we want when we walk in, super friendly and such an asset to the company!

Ordered an oat latte only to be served one with cow's milk (which I was unfortunately only able to confirm after a few confusing mouthfuls). The waitress did apologise but having been vegan for over 20 years the "that was my bad" didn't really cut it. Was then charged £3.50 for two slices of plain toast. The staff are friendly enough but the service and light flickering need a good talking to.

Had afternoon Tea for 2 , thankfully I didn’t pay for it as it was a gift from my brother. Tea and coffee served and we then waited about 25 mins for the actual ‘Tea’ to come so we had pretty much drink our drinks by the time it came . It arrived and I did say ‘is that it ‘ as I looked at the ‘sandwiches ‘ to which she said don’t worry the cakes are coming . 2 tiny squares of bread with a tiny bit of beef on. 2 tiny squares of bread with homus on, 2 bite size sausage rolls . We didn’t get 1 slice worth of bread between us ! How the chef /manager can send that out and charge £20 or so is taking the absolute mick. 2 tiny slices of carrot cake /and tiny other sweet items were served , again quality awful . I could go on . All is would say do not get a Tea here as it it complete day light robbery .

Tenía un bocadillo muy sabroso. Tikka De Pollo. Un montón de sabor y buen café. Un poco de cola en hasta pero bajó lo suficientemente rápido.

I would really rate this 0/0. A truly horrendous experience. Ordered an English Breakfast×3. Was given a cold burned breakfast with cold toast! The only thing warm was the tea and hash browns. The sausages were doubly cooked and black. Rashers were burned with the tomatoes. Beans were cold with cold mushrooms! This place came recommended but I would recommend you stay away!! We were told we would get 10percent discount but the barmaid who was dreadful knew 0 so we got charged 28.50 for the experience never to return!!
