Had afternoon Tea for 2 , thankfully I didn’t pay for it as it was a gift from my brother. Tea and coffee served and we then waited about 25 mins for the actual ‘Tea’ to come so we had pretty much drink our drinks by the time it came . It arrived and I did say ‘is that it ‘ as I looked at the ‘sandwiches ‘ to which she said don’t worry the cakes are coming . 2 tiny squares of bread with a tiny bit of beef on. 2 tiny squares of bread with homus on, 2 bite size sausage rolls . We didn’t get 1 slice worth of bread between us ! How the chef /manager can send that out and charge £20 or so is taking the absolute mick. 2 tiny slices of carrot cake /and tiny other sweet items were served , again quality awful . I could go on . All is would say do not get a Tea here as it it complete day light robbery .

Went for the lunch, really minimal options which made me think the food would be fantastic as is usually the case with a limited menu. This was not the case. Wild mushroom starter was delicious although a little salty, but the mains (fish and chips, mushroom & ricotta pizza) were too salty to eat. The fish was about 70% batter and chips were undercooked. Managed one slice of the pizza before giving up. We told the waitress all of this and that we didn't want any replacement food as we were no longer hungry, and they proceeded to bring out a desert with "happy anniversary" written on it. We didn't want desert and it wasn't our anniversary so I'm not sure where this idea came from. On top of this the wine we ordered wasn't refrigerated so we had to ask for ice cubes, never had an experience like this in a restaurant before. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had lunch before the 2nd lockdown. Staff welcoming, attentive, caring and smiling. Food excellent. Lunch menu slightly limiting. Missed the fish pie as taken off of the lunchtime menu, when we visited. Looking forward to returning.

Staff, service and surroundings perfect. A bit mean with the bread for the pattie, 4 small 10p sized dried 'crostini' more was brought when we asked but told we would have to pay for it. In my opinion coffees were overpriced £3.20 a cup.

Visited this restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We were given a very pleasant table in the conservatory which had around 6-7 tables. The fixed price menu has a traditional Sunday Lunch with (limited) choices. The service was absolutely impeccable and the food just perfect. They don't seem to worry about portion control either as neither my wife nor I were able to finish the main course or dessert. One of the big plus points was that the place was lovely and quiet ! No loud music or people talking in loud voices , disturbing their fellow guests, just muted conversations - perfect. Crossed the courtyard following the meal for a pint of real ale (Casque Mark) in the Stables bar, which also serves food.A thoroughly civilised day out !

Staff Great Main course Rissoto was just a mussy mess lacked taste and Asparagus burnt Chicken was like rubber and broccoli so badly burnt was not edible . Dessert choclate fondant and ice cream good. We were told that a trainee was in the kitchen while the head chef was somewhere else . This was a gift from a special person so very disappointed. We were offered coffee but declined

Called in for a quick beer with my partner, I noticed there was a staff member from the Wakefield spoons, now one of the team managers at Morley, I spoke to her and she basically just ignored me, don't think this is professional from a management member. All other staff were friendly and polite, won't go back to that venue again.

Feeling peckish my friend decided he wanted fish & chips, we were on the Headrow so l thought of Nash's even though l've never eaten there. The reason for that is the business & alley approach looks so unwelcoming. And it did again...7 large green general waste dustbins right outside, rubbish everywhere. Now l know this is not the fault of Nash's but it's plain off-putting, they could screen it off for a small outlay. Secondly l said to my pal "lt's shut", everything about it led me to thinking that, even with an "open" flyer on the door, l was amazed the door opened when l pushed it. Oh oh, totally empty, no food in the fryers, really strange. The woman behind the counter was great, she explained that it was cooked fresh & wouldn't take long. 2 fish & chips were ordered and tbh l was not expecting much. I was wrong, the fish was really good and the chips fine & plentiful, mushy peas ok if a bit watery. The only negative was the tomato sauce, it was terrible, orange & cheap. Whilst we were eating 2 other customers arrived, so 4 in probably 40 minutes there. There is something wrong here, the food was good, the woman friendly & efficient but it is devoid of any atmosphere or decent furnishings, to me it looks like totally wasted potential. I'd probably give it another try, maybe l caught it on an unusually quiet day, but still, please make an effort on the approach & frontage to make it more welcoming, l'm sure it'd make huge difference.
