The best cooked breakfast in the area. Well worth a detour from the mediocre cafes on Town Street. Sausages and bacon use good quality meat. Hash browns are home made. At one time the service was a bit slow but it seems pretty quick nowadays. Food has always been great either way.

Stopped here after looking at reviews online and have to say it lived up to the hype. OH had full English- homemade hashbrowns were lush, beans, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, eggs, and toast, plus tea or coffee inc - all plentiful, tasty & just fantastic. I had avo on toast with 3 poached eggs and fresh toms - again really good and loads of it too. Service was great - really popular with the locals from the looks of it which is always a good sign 👍🏻 Listening to other customers giving orders it sounded like the staff were happy to accommodate any requests and it all looks great whilst being good vfm too. Definitely recommend it 10/10 👍🏻

Probably our favourite cafe in Horsforth. Fairly priced, decent grub, and tasty “iced” coffee. One thing that sets it apart from most is the customer service. Manager and all the staff are always pleasant, and they seem to collectively understand customer satisfaction. There have been a good few times I have received and witnessed the extra effort they will put in to make sure customers are happy. Will be going again and recommend.

Opening hours are advertised as 7.30am opening online so myself, my son and 5 year old granddaughter arrived at 7.40am for a quick breakfast before school and work. Staff member was outside as we arrived so we asked if we could come in. We’re told they don’t open until 8am. I explained that house are stated at 7.30 online to be told we’d have to wait as the “ coffee machine wasn’t on” Was totally disinterested and stood watching my granddaughter cry as she was looking forward to her smoothie. I’ve been a regular customer but won’t be back. Plenty of other businesses locally that actually care about repeat business.

Went here with my brother who was visiting from Australia, he's also a chef. Unfortunately we dared to turn up half an hour before food orders stopped - so I asked if we could get take away, we were begrudgingly told yes. We ordered coffee and hot sandwiches which we had to wait outside for. Our coffee was delivered with attitude (slammed onto the table) by an extremely rude waitress. Our unremarkable hot sandwich took so long we could have drunk our coffee and eaten them outside anyway? For future reference to the bad tempered waitress and extremely rude person in charge, you never know who has just walked in - I suggest in future treat your paying customers with respect. People are more travelled now and have experienced the incredible service in other countries. It made me ashamed of my City.

Popped in for a takeaway and ordered two sausage and tomato sandwiches to go. Bit of a wait but don't mind that if it's being cooked fresh to order. Good quality ingredients but really disappointed with the portion size - just one and a half sausages in each sandwich? At £4.20 each needless to say I was expecting more! Really surprised at the other reviews saying how generous the portions are, absolutely not our experience.

Lovely place to bring your family of friends for brunch or breakfast (including veggie options) which you can tell are all made fresh which is great. Staff are very friendly but seem very young. The building itself is a good size but gets very busy so seating can be hard to find. Coffees are nice and the overall place is very clean. I would happily come here again, however I wish the building was bigger and they had more seating areas for people.

Me and the hubby went for brunch last Saturday. We live in Yeadon so often forget about this place. I had a goats cheese and pepper ciabatta with a strawberry and banana smoothie whilst he went for the breakfast with a pot of tea. Food was served in a timely fashion and well-presented. Everything was lovely apart from one customer (with his daughter I believe and who was probably about 2 years old) swearing loudly whilst on the phone - tut-tut. Not the cafe's fault but customers don't really need to hear that sort of language :(

Following a recommendation through Facebook we thought we would give this little place a try passed it many times but never been so one Sunday morning the need for a full English called as we were feeling very delicate, we were greeted by a very friendly pair of ladies who quickly took our order my other half decided on the large breakfast which would actually feed a small family it was that big, all freshly cooked to order, we were happy to wait having ordered tea for 2 served in a giant teapot to keep us going! Food was excellent couldn’t fault it, however when it gets busy you need to be patient as once the orders back up you can be waiting up to 30 mins, we timed it just right before the rush, but some people were getting a little annoyed! Having said that I have returned and wasn’t kept waiting too long even through a busy lunchtime! Definitely worth a visit and keeping local independent businesses going which is great!

If I had to make one criticism it would be that it perhaps wasn't so 'big' however having said that the quality of the food was great. No cutting corners or buying cheap bacon and sausages here so I'd much prefer quality over quantity. We booked afternoon tea here using a Groupon voucher. Our table was already set up for us when we arrived and Helen showed us to our table and asked what we wanted to drink. We opted for decaf coffee and it was very good coffee. A young man called Kaden - (not sure of the spelling) brought a large platter to our table and he explained what was in the sandwiches, four different types of filling - egg mayo, ham & tomato, cheese & onion and crunchy tuna. He also explained that everything on the platter was made on the premises apart from the bread. There was a delicious moist sponge cake, warm fruit scones with plenty of butter and a very cute little pot of jam, and rocky road cake. Everything was well presented and tasted fresh, You also get your milk for coffee etc in a very cute little bottle. All in all a very pleasurable experience and we will certainly go back for more. There is also a quite extensive menu for light meals and snacks available - highly recommended.

Went to a tapas evening there recently with friends and it was fab. Food was excellent and the couple who own it (sorry can't remember their names) were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Only live about a mile away and have never been before, but will definitely be going again .... very soon.

We used the team from the Yorkshire Crust to cater for my 50th last year and last weekend they catered for a wonderful Christening we attended. Although very different, both events were excellent and the catering and the service were top notch. For my birthday we organised a fab three course meal for 40 people and had a couple of pre ordered choices and every course was brilliant and really good value for money. The Christening was just lovely and I do think the Chef makes the best chicken liver pate I have ever tasted as well as wonderful goats cheese tarts!I can really recommend their outside catering.

We organised a girls night out / charity fund raiser / tapas night with owner Craig. He planned a great menu and was really helpful in advance of the night. On the actual night the food was glorious, plentiful and served with great humour despite 20+ slightly rowdy women and Craig & his wife even donated a prize for the raffle. In our party we have a vegetarian and people with wheat and garlic allergies who also said their food was wonderful. If you then bring into account that the food is very reasonably priced and it's BYO alcohol with no corkage charge then you're looking a a great value wonderful night outWe are already planning the next night. Please note, if you contact Craig he can often arrange private dining on a Friday night for parties of 8 or over though the "open" resturant evening are also wonderful.Be afraid , be very afraid, we'll all be back!

after rounding up a team of babysitters a group of us went here for Mexican night on Saturday, and what can I say apart from we will be coming back. We drank lots of wine BYO with no corkage, ate fabulous food at a very good price and our every whim was catered to. We are a fussy bunch but it met all our needs. We enjoyed it so much we are booking the next night out, The menu was well balanced and perfectly cooked, my sea bass was wonderful as were all the courses. Thank you Craig and our lovely waiter for indulging us and the ice cream was fab, despite it being off menu, hopefully see you all soon. My friends are eyeing up the steak night and Carrie wants to know if she can have egg and fat chips etc as the veggie option..... Thanks for decorating the table for us and bringing out the birthday cake much appreciated, and we all fell in love with the mini milk bottles that came with the coffee soo cool and retro

Craig catered for my Mum's 70th birthday and the food was excellent. There were a range of menus to choose from and we chose a cold buffet which we tweaked a little (for the fussy eaters). When it arrived there was plenty of food, it was fresh, high quality and on proper dishes and platters (no cheap plastic).I have to give a special mention to the pate which was absolutely gorgeous. The chicken Caesar salad was also good......it was all good.... and scrumptious....thank you!

Love going here. Been here several times, with the most recent visit in May. The staff are nice, especially the owner. Always likes to talk to the customers and welcomes them in nicely. The food is great, my personal favourite is the chicken and chorizo panini. It's very nice! It's also reasonably cheap and they offer catering services, which is handy :) Definitely worth a visit!

I visited The Yorkshire Crust for their St George's themed dinner night. The service for our large table was excellent with the staff being friendly and accommodating for anything we needed. The food served was excellent......individual beef wellington a particular highlight. Only small grumble would be some more veg to go with it!Look forward to visiting again.

Used outside catering for a 2 day company conference and received great service from start to finish. I briefed Craig 2 weeks beforehand and he speedily sent over menus and different options for us to choose from. The brief was a gourmet buffet for 10 people. First day we opted for a hot buffet, which providing that the venue had minimal catering facilities was great - the food was served hot and extremely tasty. Second day was a cold gourmet buffet, which again was great. It is actually the second time we have used the company as we used them for a 1 day seminar last year. Organisation and service are first class and we hope to use again soon.

Service great. Best cappuccino I've ever had and I totally recommend the bacon buttees...even if you don't like bacon. I've only been for breakfast so far and cannot wait to go for a later meal in the future. There's a wide range in options for just breakfast though, there has to be something to suit your fancy. Both eat in and take out options. Worth a visit!

Called in for Breakfast, cant fault the food. However we waited for drinks which is sad as I would of bought another one. My toast came buttered already, no one asked me if this was ok. The table cloth had crumbs on it from the last occupant. There was also a smell of Grease in the air, whilst I appreciate breakfast is being cooked I did find the smell off putting, it took a while for our food to arrive too. Maybe this was the coaching session going on from the kitchen " When you put an order on shout Check on"

Craig and his staff helped us put on a special night especially for local people who have coeliac disease and gluten intolerance. ALL the dishes were superb but it was particularly special to be able to eat battered prawns, a delicious sauce with the fish polished off with chocolate tart, lemon drizzle cake and eton mess, without having to worry about how it was prepared, whether it was contaminated or whether the ingredients were REALLY gluten free or not. Everyone was impressed with the good service and lovely presentation of the food along with a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed equally by the Coeliacs and non-Coeliacs attending (who couldn't even tell it was gluten free food!) Couldn't recommend it more highly. We'll be back. Thanks again :)

Heard great reviews about this place, been before in the summer, sat outside had a cuppa, great cuppa bye the way. Seen great big breakfasts coming out. Thought id try again couple weeks after with my partner eho loves a good breaky. We ate in, the table cloths wer minging, I moved tables, then found a hair on my table, stains etc. Why not try plastic table cloths so you can wipe them over. We wer given mudfled up breakfasts and if id of known how small the small breakfast was id of ordered a large for an extra £2. When the waitress dissapeared the chef came out to clear tablesand had a minging muvky old tea towel hanging over his shoulder. Oh and there was a hair on my hash brown. All said and done it was nice food, lovely sausages. Not sure about the bacon.

Yorkshire Crust is Fantastic! My partner and I stumbled across this great little find tucked away in North West Leeds. Both hungry, we were greeted by friendly and caring staff who talked us through the menu. After much deliberation I opted for the delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich whilst my partner went for the Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel. We both really enjoyed our meals, afterwards we were told the café turned into a nice, romantic little restaurant on Saturday evenings. Each Saturday a different themed night takes place. We were informed this Saturday there was a 'Spanish' night then a 'French' night the following week.We will definitely be recommending this to all our family and friends as its great value, good food and a friendly atmosphere.

We had heard good things about this cafe/bistro and thought we would try it for breakfast.Unfortunately we would not return for breakfast as the ventilation in the cafe does not stop the smell of burning oil from filling the seating area and its not nice to come out of somewhere smelling like a greasy spoon. I also did not like the tough skins on the sausages.I am sure this is not an issue for lunch or dinner so we will try it again at a different time of day.

Yorkshire Crust is a Cafe/Deli by day serving delicious and great value breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, coffee and cakes. On Saturday night it becomes a fabulous and exclusive restaurant. Bring your own, no corkage adds value too so you can enjoy your meal with your own choice of beverage. Nights are themed and tables are limited, you need to be hawk eyed on Facebook or the website to find out what's cooking and book your place.I use this place a lot and not least because you can relax with free wi-fi so its ideal for quick business meetings over a healthy bite!

Having sampled the steak sandwich I decided to give the steak night a go. For starter I had the tomato nd pepper soup which was absolutely delicious. My other half had the carpaccio venison which didn't stay on the plate for long.I chose the fillet and he had the sirloin. Both were cooked to perfection and accompanied by chunky chips, flat mushroom, grilled tomato and home made opinion rings with our choice of sauce. I have to say the portions were enough to fill even the heartiest appetite! I had to leave some chips as I couldn't bring my self to leave a delicious chunk of meat on the plate - I would have definitely regretted that the following day! Pudding was passion fruit creme brûlée For me nd a peanut and chocolate cheesecake for him.The creme brûlée was smooth and the best I have tasted. The cheesecake didn't go to waste either.A lovely experience I will definitely do again.

Best fried egg north of the Severn Estuary! Recently moved to Somerset but wanted to show off my Leeds credentials to my other half. Tribeca City Cafe fulfilled all expectations with a superb full English breakfast and coffees to match, all served promptly with refined professionalism. Had a friendly chat with the owner who definitely deserves your custom if you're anywhere nearby. If you can find your way to the magnificent Leeds Town Hall then this superb basement gem of a cafe is only a few yards away. Extra tables at street level also if the sun shines. You won't be disappointed!
