The best restaurants serving British food in Kippax and Methley Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Having read good reviews we dont live far away so thought we'd give it a go. Very disappointed really, no swaps on the breakfast, choose items from a list might have been better as there is always something someone doesn't like. Everyone's fried eggs were "snotty" which is quite off putting and two of us don't like black pudding so the full breakfast became two items less. We did give top marks for the sausage and beans tho but the hash browns could have been better quality. All in all edible (apart from the eggs) but I'm sorry we've had far better for less money

We’ve passed this place lots of times on our way to St Aiden’s and always thought it looked like a pub, which it was (years ago)! Lovely and cosy inside, very friendly atmosphere and staff. Enjoyed the background music which seems to change often (they write the music playing on the blackboard). We went for breakfast which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Brilliant prices and everything well cooked. There was a bit of a wait but the garden area was full and was almost full inside. Can’t wait to get back and try out their cakes as they looked great, scones and a good selection of home baked cakes and traybakes, not your usual bought in sugary rubbish. Lunch sounded great too, the chef came in to write new specials on the board whilst we were there, so they obviously have fresh ingredients and cook it all from scratch. Also they have a craft shop with small individual businesses supplying lots of different gifts, aromatherapy items and environmentally friendly goods which were good value. Called on the way back from Fairburn for a drink with my elderly Grandad (who can barley walk) Asked if we could sit inside. Was told no because they were fully booked. So we went outside. We went to leave and the pub was completely empty. Bit of a joke really after spending £30 on 4 drinks.

Fabulous place, great venue, good food and lovely staff

I will no longer be visiting this place after they housed migrants and turned there back on the loyal public for pure greed

He estado viviendo en Farsley por un par de años y nunca visité este lugar. Sin embargo, me quedé sin granos de café y estaba a la caza de una recarga. Después de visitar Sutcliffes justo al final de la colina me recomendaron que probara aquí. Estoy muy contenta de haberlo hecho ya que los frijoles son los más frescos que he comprado. Imagino que eso depende de que usen los mismos frijoles que venden, así que nunca estarán en el estante el tiempo suficiente para quedarse viciados. Valoro la frescura sobre todo en los granos que uso y aparte de la gigantesca oleada de deliciosos olores a café que me rodearon en mi camino de regreso a casa, una vez que puse los granos a través de mi molinillo, en la Aeropress y agregué un poco de agua pude ver el Co2 burbujeando fuera de la solución durante siglos después. Una señal segura de frijoles frescos. ¡Volveré!

Excellent Sunday lunch. Lovely roast and delicious pudding. Very comfortable seats!
