Last minute decision to dine ordered at 2.55 with kitchen closing at 3pm. Worried about ordering starters and mains place was busy , Staff checked with chef no problem! Everything ticked the box and real value for money with great ambience and great staff. Well done guys

Every mouthful was outstanding. Really wide choice for each course. All in our group of 7 agreed everyone’s dishes were divine. Generous portions, high quality produce and amazing cooking. Waiter really pleasant. Already booked to go back. (Never tasted mashed potatoes this nice anywhere in the world)

We came here for a meal to celebrate a family birthday. There was something on the menu to please everyone, including our fussy six year old. Portion sizes were spot on and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, even when busy; getting the balance between making sure we were attended to and leaving us to enjoy our meal just right. We would definitely recommend and will be coming back again to try more from the menu!

A ladies meet-up, first since 2019 due to Covid-19, and for two of us a first outing, having been in lockdown for 15 months. We were made to feel safe with our window table, we were greeted and looked after throughout by very attentive staff, Stuey ensuring we had everything we needed. Now to the tea itself, well... It looked stunning served on tall, 3 tier, cake stands. Bottom tier sandwiches, very dainty and 4 varieties each... Middle tier cakes, 3 mouthwatering varieties each... Top shelf of course the scones, jam and clotted cream - prompting the usual conversation of jam or cream top or bottom... All accompanied with a pot of tea each, mine was Earl Grey. I can not recommend it enough, but to top it off it was excellent value too!

After a ride on the SVR we got off at Arley to visit the arboretum. It was a lovely afternoon so we decided to get a sandwich and a drink before returning to Bridgnorth on the train. There isn’t a great deal of choice of sandwiches, but what they had was lovely and fresh with lots of filling (ham and cheese) with salad and crisps on the side. Together with a mug of tea it was perfect for a sunny afternoon by the river.
