The best restaurants in Bewdley and Arley Wyre Forest West Midlands

Last minute decision to dine ordered at 2.55 with kitchen closing at 3pm. Worried about ordering starters and mains place was busy , Staff checked with chef no problem! Everything ticked the box and real value for money with great ambience and great staff. Well done guys

A very good place for a comfortable stop, a good cup of coffee and a browse through the bric-a-brac. Very friendly service.

Didn't look much from the outside, but we're really pleased we ventured in. Immaculately clean, a very warm welcome, and fast efficient service. We only wanted a light lunch, and the toasties were just what we needed. We're not vegetarians, but we would choose to visit here when we're next in Bewdley.

Such a great place! The people, the food and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! Even getting challenged to my personal spicy preference with sauces and fried chillies was definitely a bonus! The staff couldn't do enough for you. Great place, can't wait to visit again! Thanks so much 🫶

Friendly staff excellent service

We tried this for the first time although driven past a thousand times and were completely amazed. There is a cosy pub and also a separate restaurant. We booked the restaurant and we all had three courses. The food was fantastic from start to finish and beautifully presented. We were a party of four and each meal and course were perfect. The service is quick, attentive and friendly. Staff actually know about the food and drinks they are serving which is how it should be but unfortunately is not the case in most places, so that was another bonus. We liked everything about this place and will definitely come back.

Although I would prefer a lesser busy venue, this was brilliant and a very good night out for all legal age range. Food was exceptional and service was fast and efficient for the amount of people. Keep it up

David Wilson got it spot on. Unpretentious cafe serving good food at a lovely location. We didn't sit outside even though it was sunny, as it was February, so about 3°.

The Real Ale Tavern (The RAT) is another superbly refurbished Black Country Ales pub. All the regular Black Country Ales available along with a fine and varied selection of guest ales. The typical Black Country Pub range of bar snacks are available, including cobs and pork pies. Only downside, was the guest who decided it was ok to vape inside, when there are signs clearly stating 'No Smoking, No Vaping'.

Great food, really first class food and service could not fault it first class .The restaurant looks a little tired.could do with a couple of coats of paint the table we sat on right by the bar had curry stains up the wall which was a little off putting. the owner and the waiters were not dressed very well and scruffy .Message to the owner its really good food and great service you need to capitalise on your business model and tidy yourselves up and the decor.
