The best restaurants serving British food in Prees Shropshire West Midlands

Dropped in for a spot of lunch as we were passing through. Friendly staff. Decent menu at reasonable prices. Freshly produced food with decent portions. No WiFi.

I visited The Combermere with a friend on Monday 14th for a light lunch and was delighted with the food, the service and the overall ambience of the pub. It was so good, I took my son there for Easter Sunday lunch today - it was excellent. As a family, we'll be making it a venue for family occasions. Thanks to both the serving staff and everyone in the kitchen for an excellent occasion.

Stopped off at the Midway Truck Stop enroute to Devon for an All Day Breakfast, of which fully met our expectations, having stop here before a number of years ago.

Had an amazing afternoon tea here with a mixed group of Omnivores, vegetarian and vegan. Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious, I couldn't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back. Make sure you leave time for a walk around the trails!

Awful. We got there and there were only one couple having coffee and a small family finishing there meal. The service to stay was good. The meal was awful. I had Hunters chicken. The chicken was over cooked, hard and dry on top. My husband had chicken mix, also dry and hard. My grandson had the kids Pasta with carrots. The carrots were soggy and the pasta was dry and hard. During the meal I asked what the constant ear piercing beeping was, to be told it was the oven in the carvery. The waiter then cleared out plates, then all the staff went to look at the Yorkshire puds that were burning in the oven. Wtf, said one person, as they started to discuss the puds... loudly and the fact that the measurements for the puds had been guessed! After 25 mins, I asked where our desert was and that I couldn't understand what was talking so long as we were then the only people in the restaurant, 3 mins later out desserts came out. The air was full of a hot smell of oil. I left the restaurant fuming. Never again. No wonder it was empty.

Excellent clean old style pub top class pool and 3 snooker tables, friendly and good prices cheers Rob
