A Fabulous meal set in place with a lovely atmosphere and such friendly helpful staff. We enjoyed some top quality food which was very reasonably priced considering the standard of the meal. The braised beef was excellent as were the burgers and steak. The salad was to die for coming with the most amazing dressing! We loved the whole experience so much we booked to come the next evening too! The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes they serve, telling us how many of the vegetables are grown by the chef. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely place.

Nice to see a small but very well executed menu Lots pubs in the area tend to have very predictable menus such be as nice to see 5 or 6 things I fancied choosing Ended up with the special which was a lamb hot pot and was delicious Portions aren’t huge but filled us all up Will be back Pleasant staff

Wow is all I can say. I was booked in at Glewstone Court for an Afternoon Tea with my children. The whole experience was wonderful and we cannot recommend it enough. On arrival, we were welcomed by a immaculate young man, Sam- he couldn't have been more helpful. We were shown to our seats and Sam went out of his way to ensure my children were happy and had the drinks they wanted. The drinks came quickly, served by a very friendly waitress and we began. Initially, it looked as if we were going to be able to finish everything- we didn't! We started with scrumptious soft sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls and quiche. Honestly, the sausage rolls were delicious and the quiche was a perfect size. We paused for tea and coffee then moved onto the cakes and mini-puds........ My youngest is totally in love with the Rhubarb Macrons and could have eaten many more! The cakes are all made on site and the homemade lemon posset was so more-ish. We had a Paris Brest pastry- I've never had one of those before but I'll be looking out for those again. The warm scones were delicious and there was plenty of clotted cream and jam for us to all share. You could tell instantly they were freshly made. In the end, we needed to take some home in a box as we were full to the brim. We met the owner at the bar, who was delightful, friendly and had a little chat with my daughter's toy cat, much to her delight! The staff there were so kind, cheerful and helpful, the whole place had a really warm and welcoming feel. We didn't feel rushed at all- we stayed all afternoon. Glewstone is just outside of Ross and wasn't somewhere that was on my radar to eat- but I will certainly be returning. I spent my Mothering Sunday in a Georgian Manor House eating delicious food with my family- perfect!

I had a great experience here yesterday with my family. We recieved a very warm welcome, the chef/ owner came out to chat and tell us about the specials. He was very friendly as were all the staff. The kids wanted bacon sandwiches, he said we could have them as part of the “kids deal” which was very reasonably priced at £5.50 (or there abouts) including the meal, a drink and a cupcake too! Myself and my partner had fish finger sandwiches, which came with crisps, lovely fresh salad and home made coleslaw. Portion sizes were generous and we shared a bowl of chips between us all too. We were stuffed! The food was perfectly hot, fresh and tasty. We were offered to take the cupcakes home in a takeaway box which I thought was a nice touch. Extremely attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you! We will definitely be returning.

Good atmosphere but tables don't seem to get cleared and cleaned very quickly probably because of lack of staff?I had the Sticky Chicken which was very spicy and I enjoyed it.
