Cream Cajun chicken pasta is 10/10, build your own wraps are amazing and cheesy sweet potato wedges are also so good. Love that they count out all the calories and macros for you, makes healthy eating so much easier! Amazing place, well worth a visit. Only downside is juice selection in their fridge isn’t the best (would be good to have some more items like irn bru xtra, sprite, coke zero etc) but not worth scoring down for.

What a great pub. Dogs are welcome, along with families. Cobs and pizzas are delicious, plus staff go above and beyond to make your welcome. Good beer garden.

Not been here for years, booked online, but when we turned up they had no record of our booking, even though we had an email confirmation. That said food was fine , service ok , experience was just nothing special. I am only being honest, staff were friendly. My wife enjoyed the Tandoori Duck dish, which she hadn't had before and not seen it anywhere else.

Unsure where to begin, we booked a family meal of 7 when we arrived we was the only table in the whole pub no other customers, all staff were stood around kitchen area chatting, food came beef was cold all beg was Luke warm other than cauliflower was too hot too touch bowl but couldn't get a knife to cut it, realised we had no cutlery on the table had to ask and for mint sauce, we wasn't happy as a group and not one member of staff asked if our food was okay,had a birthday cake with candles but did it myself as all staff decided to sit down and eat their own food, not sure who was serving us! Terrible service, terrible food and crazy prices won't be back for sure!

Very disappointing!! It's been 2 years since visiting this pub and I won't be in a hurry to return!! Firstly I was overcharged on a meal deal, then to add insult to injury, after 20 minutes of waiting for our meal, we were told there was a delay for food!! Surely this is something that we should have been made aware of when we were ordering our food. I am at this moment sitting in the pub writing this review while we are still waiting for our food, 45 minutes after ordering it, this is totally unacceptable. We have had a refund and walked out

Swift pint, flat beer, dull atmosphere

I unfortunately i didn’t take any pictures of my large COD and mixed batter / plain chips as i forgot to do so but i wouldnt spend £14 on their food again, the most i would want to spend in this shop is around £5 max! I would say their pies are nice, the big vegetable spring roll is okay and their mixed meat isnt so fresh, its a little dry and the texture isnt the best i like my mixed kebab meat to be flavoursome and succulent … The atmosphere of the restaurant looks clean and the design is pleasing to the eye, the staff seem laid back, the food isn’t up to standard, im quite picky when it comes to fish and chips because alot of chip shops food is to oily and lack flavour, alot of chip shops ‘chips’ are to hard like they havent had enough time to cook and settle… i prefer my chips to be crispy on the outside and super soft and fluffy on the inside or just soft chips inside and out with a nice flavour on them even before salt is vinegar added. If your desperate for a fish and chips then yeah come here but if you crave fish and chips and want to be fully satisfied i wouldn’t go here, id rather spend more money on a Chinese takeaway.

A real mixed bag, my husband had fish and chips and the couple who were with us had scampi and chips and all was hot and tasty. Unfortunately I opted for flat bread with halloumi, this was not hot or tasty. I was served a very crisp flat bread, it was too hard to cut with a knife, but so much fun cracking it with my hands. The halloumi was rather thinly cut, it was golden brown on one side and white on the other. I have no idea how it was cooked, but it was so tough I could have sold my shoes with it. The plate looked as if the food had been sitting around under heat lamps for some time. Yes I should have complained at the time, but couldn't be bothered to mare a fuss so simply ate some of the food and left the rest. Why can the kitchen get 3 meals so right and one a total disaster?
