Fabulous restaurant that is forever thoughtful with it's menu. Had the scallops and they were the best I have had in a long time - perfectly cooked and with a fantastic salad. Highly recommend this restaurant as we have never been let down yet.

Popped in for lunch and first thing noted the signage, it’s not a chain, privately owned by the looks, a good start! Inside clean fresh tidy, staff helpful & friendly, pleasant music, nice clientele. Ordered four meals, freshly cooked and were all fantastic. Toilets spotless. Price not an issue reflected the good quality. If you like two for a tenner or pretentious overpriced grand stylee chain pubs with micro waved pre prepped dinners with a leaf on top (you know where I mean) this isn’t for you! We will be back to try the lasagne asap. T

We visited the Bell Inn yesterday lunchtime with friends, it was probably the first time since pre covid We had booked a table for 1pm and on arrival we were surprised at how quiet it was, which isn't usually a good sign But we were pleasantly surprised on entering the restaurant by the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff, and also the high standard and cleanliness of the recently refurbished venue We ordered from the 2 courses for £18.95 lunchtime menu and we were all blown away by the quality and presentation of the hot freshly cooked food The staff were attentive but not overbearing and ensured that we were happy with the food and service and they made our afternoon spent there a comfortable dining experience Full marks to The Bell We will definitely go back soon

Best value in Kingswinford by far. There is an old saying, you get what you pay for, and here it’s worth every penny. We have had both Sunday dinner and lunch meals here, and not been disappointed at all. The food is freshly made, with local produce, and well cooked and presented by Roy and his team. The staff are attentive, well presented unlike some other local eatery’s. The property is spotless, it has ample parking.

The place was very quiet only one other couple in when we arrived and only one other came in all night. Not surprised as the prices are very expensive. The food was very nice but the only reason we went here is because I had the Gourmet Society Club Card which on their site clearly states at the Bell Kingswinford you get 25% off your bill. Well don’t go here thinking you can use this card! Because when I went to pay I was told “we don’t accept the card we are in the process of getting it removed off the site”! Had we known they didn’t except it we wouldn’t have gone because the prices are over the top. Not impressed that as their place is clearly still on the site and has not been taken off the site they did not honour it!

This was our first visit to The Bell since it had changed hands and found the food good, and commented that it was nice to have somewhere to go for good food in Kingswinford. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was quite busy - which was good to see, we ordered drinks at the bar, then was shown to our table. Staff were very attentive. Our starters of scallops was excellent and husbands steak was good and cooked to his request, although my lasagne didn’t have much sauce and was dry. Puddings were good also, we ordered another drink each and then asked for our bill. On paying our bill the waiter asked who’d had the lasagne, I said it was me and he said he was sorry and would refund the price of this for my inconvenience and fair play that’s exactly what he did he took the price of this from our final bill. But on paying the bill we were very disappointed to find out my 2 medium glasses of wine were £9.35 each! Whilst we were happy with the food and service we weren’t so happy being ripped off on the price of the drinks. We could have bought 2 bottles of wine from the supermarket for the price of 2 glasses of wine. Shame …..

Took elderly family members for lunch. Disabled parking and easy access for walking frame and or wheelchair. Lovely and warm inside. Clean tables, glasses and cutlery. Very polite and helpful staff. Place very clean and tidy. Menu states expect a wait as meals cooked to order, but we didn't wait too long. Enormous portions, piping hot and delicious. Our party had lasagne and beer battered fish. No complaints at all. Absolutely delicious. No big flashy menu, just good home cooked, very tasty food. The pricing reflects the portion sizes and quality of the food. We will be visiting again very soon 😋😊

So 12 months ago I put a not so good review on here for the Bell. Since then it's improved no end. The toilets are much improved since last year since the new owners took over. Lovely inside, very modern and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Yesterday, Christmas eve, we went into town, pubs were packed but the Bell was quiet so we decided to have food, Christmas menu, and not disappointed. You get a lot, with fresh veggies and other things on the side. Prices look high but if you compare the quality and portion size I think it is justified. Christmas carols playing in the background was nice. Shame there weren't so many people in but hopefully that will improve.

Heard mixed reviews as it has recently been refurbished and reopened so wanted to try for myself. Ordered the combo roast and was served very quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed it but very disappointed that the roasters weren’t homemade which kind of ruined the roast, the roasters we were served are the ones I buy for a quick meal for my son. The sides that were served were lovely.. peas, carrots, broccoli, creamed leeks and cauliflower cheese. Had the sticky toffee pudding and the serving was huge and could have been a bit warmer but was delicious nonetheless. All in all was good but the roasters really let it down.

We popped here for something to eat, knowing that the pub runs an Italian restaurant. The food was excellent (I had the rib eye steak and my other half had the halibut), and the service was second to none. Really personable folks who provided a professional service throughout. I think the only issue for this place is the branding. Its not overly clear as to whether it is The Bell Inn (eg a pub) or an Italian restaurant. The interior still has a strong legacy of the pub it used to be (traditonal bar and the old tartan carpet) but with a few signs they’re starting to add a few touches to make it feel more Mediterranean (vines and fairy lights in the ceiling panels). But certainly from the outside, and the website, you might still be a little confused as to what this place is. I think if these guys can get the marketing right, this place could flourish. There are no other Italian restaurants in Kford, and with the local Wetherspoons inevitably cornering the pub grub market, The Bell could become a little haven for those wanting something a bit different, intimate and authentic. They’ve got the basics right - the food and service are spot on and its a succinct little menu. They just need push it on and go full pelt Italian with both its interior and branding. I’m guessing they’re doing this, but one step at a time. Keep up the good work guys.

We have always been regulars as we love the food at the Bell and live close by , but didn’t realize until we went last night for my daughters birthday, that the chef actually trained in Italy for ten years, so they have now launched as Campana with a fabulous Italian menu. We had a lovely meal at this restaurant which has recently changed from "pub grub" to Italian. The food and service particularly from the waitress and the young girl serving was excellent. Both very friendly and chatty, but not "over the top". Prices were comparable to most Italian restaurants. They were very covid concious, with sanitiser and an in and out door. The only criticism I would add, is that it does not have the atmosphere and vibe of an Italian restaurant, (other people have also mentioned this to me). It still looks like a pub serving Italian food. It needs some Italian decor, maybe pictures, flags and chequered (paper) table cloths etc. This did not however detract from a lovely evening

From my recent visit here I must say it is the best thing the owner has done by going to Italian food from my last visit, which was fantastic. We were looked after by a couple ladies who one with dark and one with blonde hair made us feel so welcome. So we wanted to come and try the Italian food. Well well, our server was a young lad who wasn’t experienced enough to be a server in a busy environment, although we do need to give people a chance as they need to learn on the job. He kept forgetting our drinks and in the end we had to ask the blonde lady from our last for assistance. Once again she proved her weight in gold. He appeared to be annoying some of the customers by forgetting their orders and drinks. Hopefully he can improve (dramatically) by learning from the ladies that work there already. Let’s end on another positive by saying the young lady who brought over our meals was a delightful young lady and friendly.

On this visit it was a very pleasant experience and no rowdy noises or fruity language from bar area, until a male member of the staff arrived (approx 40-45ish in age) and he was noticeably not in a good mood and I feel this had an impact not only on staff but us as customers. we were looking forward to a good meal but it was really appalling ,the pate starter was dreadful and the pasta main course was even worse I complained to the waitress and asked for a refund but the manager was conveniently un- available, I have spoken with people who have eaten there and there experience was just as bad,

Due to bar staff deciding we were not as important as the people they served before us, despite the fact we'd already been waiting and then the food needed to be served to the fortunate people who had ordered. Obviously our money is either not good enough or not needed. And the music was awful and sounded terrible. So left and went and enjoyed a lovely meal just around the corner at The Swan.

As expected with Rob Newey's meat, the steak pie was excellent: tender, succulent steak and a thick rich gravy. BUT the chips were a let-down. These were not triple-cooked as described on the menu, but had a slightly hard centre. If you are going to list as triple-cooked, then please make sure they are golden and crispy - even Sainsbury's own frozen ones were better than these.

The food is great here, properly good home cooked fayre, but another menu change and several "favourites" have bitten the dust. No more lasagne, cajun chicken or mixed grill on the evening a la carte! Why this is I don't know or understand, even the waitresses i spoke to couldn't fathom it as they were best sellers.

We dined here again recently and enjoyed yet another excellent meal, the food and service are second to none. It was fairly quiet which is very surprising as the food is so good.

Used the open table facility to reserve Sun lunch for 2 fine no problems restaurant area was quiet arrived early(standard) and seated promptly. In prep downloaded the Sunday menu off web site took with me, to find that menu issued differed; probably not uncommon but suggest web site is aligned with actual menu remembering that punters often spec that prior to booking. Had the sirloin of beef lunch with Yorkshire pudding...beef generally sound.. a little chewy, meal could have been hotter temp wise. No dessert . Service was good as was lay out and decor. Will re visit but may go for a different main course

There is a major Problem with the new menu is the choice process takes a lot longer as the dishes sound divine. my only advice would be always leave room for a desert as they are gorgeous.

Visited last night for a birthday meal - 8 on our table - we had been before and is local so hoped it would not disappoint. Unfortunately, the service really let this place down. We appreciate a larger group isn't always easy but we had booked in advance. The food was amazing and did not disappoint although there were lots of items on the menu that weren't available which were were not told about. After 20 mins of being at the table our drinks order had still not been taken and even after several asks on our behalf it took a while. When we asked about lager available the waiter simply replied he didn't know and rather than actively going to find out he seemed to dismiss the idea. Inexperienced staff and too few staff made this a real let down, long waits for drinks and steak orders being wrong too just added to our disappointment. Great food for a smaller group and if you're not in a hurry.

On our first visit we found that the food was very good. What surprised us was the amount of food scraps under the table. We were the first at lunch to use the table so it seems the cleaner missed our table. We had cause to call at The Bell Inn last week at short notice, again for lunch. The food and drink was fine. What caught our attention this time was the state of the menu.I have seen more gravy and food on a plate. Not very nice to handle before eating your meal.Perhaps putting the card menu through a laminator will make them easier to keep clean. An average mark for an average experience.

Visited this evening for dinner. Lovely warm welcome. Soup and pate starters very tasty, I would have preferred a granary bread with the soup but having said that the bread was very fresh. I had rump steak salad and hubby had t-bone the steaks were some of the best we have ever had, good desert collection I can recommend the salted caramel cheesecake. Good selection of beers on offer, excellent service. We had 25% off with dine in card but would happily pay the full price, will certainly visit again

My husband & I popped in here on way home from a hospital visit. After reading the reviews particularly about the staff & food we were quite disappointed. The triple cooked chips were really bland. We waited ages for the meal. And one of the servicing staff was about as pleasant as a slap in the face.

My wife and I visited the Bell on Friday 20th July with two friends for lunch. The bell as had a makeover and a change of ownership since we last visited. We had staters which were presented well and were in fact a meal in themselves. We had the Beef and ale pie with chips which was very good and tastey. We thought the linen serviettes rather than paper were a nice touch and without asking the lady who served us asked if we would like a bottle of chilled water and unusual for these days there was no loud music playing which enabled conversation without having to shout. All in all a very nice meal experience which we will try again soon.

I went inside to order as I don't go often and am not sure of the menu/ what comes in a meal etc. I looked at the menu for a while before a male server asked if I wanted him to take my order. I replied "yes please"as I don't like using the touch screens anywhere. I find them time consuming and prefer to deal with a human. The two touch screens were in use at this time and one person(who looked as if they would prefer a human to just take their order) was being guided through it by an employee. The male employee then told me that actually I had to use the touch screen( I think the female employee communicated this to him). I said that I didn't want to use the touch screen and some people do not like using them. The female employee then said "you've got to" 😂 No, actually I haven't. As KFC clearly didn't want my money and could do with some training in customer service(I work in this sector), I left and went and spent my money elsewhere, served by a human. I won't be back.
