The best restaurants serving British food in Longford Coventry West Midlands

I was a part of a big party of 35 people, I can not tell you how amazing the whole team were on saturday, they worked so hard to make our night so special. We had so many different options of meals and everyone of the meals came out hot and cooked perfectly. We had the room upstairs, the tables and chairs were all dressed, it looked so good. They delivered everything we asked for. From the time of booking until the actual night the help given to us was great. Big thankyou Sharon and all the team.

May 2025 - Called in on spec as it was a nice sunny day and couldn't work out what to have for dinner, so treat time! Had the Braised blade of beef, really nice. My wife had the Battered Haddock from the Lite-bites part of the menu, spot on. Beer was great, Harlequin from Everards and Aspalls cider for my wife. Nice spot outside the front of the pub overlooking the canal junction, very scenic. Good vibe to the place, lots of people and all nice and relaxed. The only reason for 4 star and not 5 was on return to our car we noticed, high up, a camera with signs about parking! Never seen this before and have been to the Greyhound many times. Nothing clear about parking other than another sign indicating you need to register your number plate on a tablet?? So went back in and one of the customers told me that it wasn't registering and working. I disregarded this and went through the process on a tablet situated by the bar. It duly went through the process and asked for my email, provided, and said a receipt would be sent. I got home and no receipt email! This is unnerving because when we arrived we had no indication of the need to do this, I would expect bar staff to ask, alternatively to have a prominent sign, at the bar, or at least on the way into the pub, indicating the need to register your number plate. perhaps the owners can rectify this and make it a 5 star experience. Not a restaurant. Arena with Good views from all seats and good level of facilities. However, small seats with short leg room so you squashed from the side and poked in the back for whole event. Seats hard so numb bum after 30 minutes. Limited entrances and exits from car park we were allocated to ,so long queues but fortunately we had taken a picnic to eat whilst waiting. Won't be my first choice for a future event.

Ordered a curry, was half way through eating it and I bit into glass. This chipped my front tooth which now I have to go to the dentist for. Rang up sounded like women didn’t believe me and neither did the guy who showed up at the door giving me another curry and wanting the half eaten curry and glass back. Lucky I don’t Sue to get my tooth repaired. Didn’t even eat the curry they delivered the second time in case it had anything in it.

Nice outdoor space but could be improved.

Fuimos a nuestro evento del club de nutrición y había un menú especial, todas las opciones fritas y procesadas. Podrían haber ganado mucho dinero con un buffet saludable. Muy decepcionado con la gestión del hotel.
