The best restaurants serving British food in West Selkley Wiltshire South West

Erinn and I really enjoyed our first visit to the Horse Shoe. Nothing was too much trouble, despite the landlady and her staff being rushed off their feet. The roast beef Easter lunch was wonderful as were our puds. Will definitely visit again.

Delightful pub / restaurant in an idyllic setting. Fabulous food and plenty of ales to choose from. Run by a great team, has a great beer garden with plenty to entertain young children and situated close to Marlborough Wilts.

Saturday lunch to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary was a must for us and one of our daughters recommended The Silks. The food was first class, the service friendly and efficient and overall the meal was really good value (3 courses as couldn't resist a pudding). We will visit again in the evening as Saturday lunchtime was a bit noisier than we anticipated (but I guess not surprisingly). Highly recommended.

Food was very small for the price and not good quality my wife and I were not impressed and £7,50 for a pint of guiness which is a disgusting price to charge obviously the crown pub taking advantage of being the only pub in the village far better pubs in surrounding villages with better food and prices. Won't be returning

A really cosy, thatched pub with friendly staff and delicious food. The burgers are fantastic! The staff were so helpful and very welcoming as were a big group of 6 families.

A very pleasant dinner experience was had with friends. The food was excellent and was accompanied by good friendly service. Prices were acceptable for the area, and menu choices were good.

Arrived expecting to find a pub and found it had changed hands two weeks earlier and reopened as an Indian restaurant - we were obviously among the very first customers! We were given a warm welcome, the food was absolutely excellent and the service attentive. I would highly recommend the Goan fish curry, mild and deliciously seasoned.
