What a great find just of the A303 . Called in for a full english breakfast. Just like my old mum made with bubble and squeak. Great service with a smile . Will call in again

Our group of 4 cycling the King Alfreds Way stopped off here for refreshments rather than at a pub. One of our party asked to recharge his battery (which was OK) and once the owner realised we were cyclists suggested we wheel our bikes through to the garden for security - very thoughtful. Friendly staff, a very large pot of tea and great cakes. Can dine in or out and kids' toys in both areas. Homely and easy going. Check opening times, though! Definitely value for money.

Great band on last night and awesome food outside! Busy and friendly staff. Great night had! Good selection of beers with large open fires.

Such a disappointing experience after reading misleading positive reviews. Food was terrible! Every dish served to our table was questionable. We gave up. Service slow and unenthusiastic which made their imposed £15 cover charge an extra slap in the face. Would highly NOT recommend. There are plenty of better more friendly places to eat in the area.

The best homemade gastro pub food! The food tasted very fresh and healthy. The best gravy I have ever tasted. Will come back for more chicken and leek pie!

Fantastic meal for an 80th birthday.There were 14 of us, the food was delicious and the staff were amazing really gave that bit extra . Will definitely be visiting again when in the area.
