The best restaurants serving British food in Pewsey Vale Wiltshire South West

Last night we met friends here for dinner and it was excellent. The menu was varied and I opted for the whitebait followed by the haddock, accompanied by salad and sweet potato fries. My husband had the burger which was enormous and I am reliably informed was very good. They seemed full ( I was glad to have booked ) and were very busy, but the staff were charming and attentive and we never felt that we had to wait too long. I will definitely be returning!

A Fantastic Sunday lunch enjoyed by all. Roast beef and turkey with all the trimmings ~ Fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and plenty of gravy. The veg was fresh, beautifully cooked and cauliflower cheese was a particular favourite. Really pleased to see meat and veg was locally sourced. Greeted with smiles and a fabulous service. Would highly recommend, we won't hesitate to return Thank you!

Delicious and wonderfully balanced food, excellent selection of beers, and a really warm ambiance. Graham and his team are kind, welcoming, and clearly very passionate. A special mention goes to the salsa verde served with my steak which complimented it excellently. Would highly recommend “The Stars” for a drink, date night, or family meal.

Passing through came across the antelope hoping to get food , got a table gor 4 of us food was excellent very good value for money the service was excellent too thankyou highly recommended
