We stayed in the campsite next door and popped in for a pint. Absolutely lovely pub with great service and very friendly staff who couldn't do more to make us feel welcome. Decent selection of drinks at decent prices. Undergoing a huge refurb but once done will we're sure be an amazing place to visit. Food offerings at the moment limited due to the refurb but although we didn't eat, what we saw smelt and looked lovely. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely riverside pub. Recently reopened. Decent pint. Campsite. Fortnightly bike night with respectable, considerate to local area bikers, and donations to Combat Stress. Just to clarify, another local pub has bike night same day, but weekly.

Awful pub with bikers frequenting on a regular basis. Police are regularly in attendance because of the bikers. Avoid at all costs.

Sue and her staff were all very welcoming and friendly towards us. We popped here desperate for a space on their campsite as the one we were staying at was awful and dirty!! Sue was fully booked but with a little jiggling about she managed to squeeze us in for which we were truly grateful. The campsite was just perfect and we couldn’t fault it! Lovely grounds with very friendly people staying here. The pub itself was very nice, great food and lovely cider and ales and we had a great night playing Music Bingo. Happy that this was also a dog friendly pub, our puppy Alfie loved playing with Sue’s dogs Guinness and Henry in the garden which is beautiful and very secure. On the day we left they even came running up to the fence wagging their tails at Alfie. We will definitely be returning here, hopefully with some friends in the near future.

Extremely well cooked scrumptious Sunday Roasts in a spacious, cool airy room. Generous portions of 4 types of veg, cauliflower cheese and pints of gravy. Lovely roast potatoes Gluten free, vegetarian and meat eaters all catered for very well! (Gluten free gravy was a little thick!) Puddings all went down very well, great proper custard! Very relaxed atmosphere and very very friendly, made my Dad's day by having a candle in his pudding and everyone singing to him, what a lovely place.

This used to be a very good pub but sadly not anymore . Two dogs belonging to the landlord were allowed to roam free and they kept pestering our dog so we had to sit on a corner table to keep using the chairs as a shield to keep them away from her . Not one member of staff came up to call them away and they could see what was happening . We could have left but unfortunately we had ordered our meal prior to this happening . The food when it came was very mediocre can the chips were lukewarm . The two dogs then kept pestering us for food while we were eating . I don't think I have had quite as bad an experience eating out for quite sometime . Completely clueless new owners . What a shame .

We received a very friendly welcome when we arrived to book in. We found the staff very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, we feel the staff went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. The campsite is very well maintained and we found the facilities to be of a good standard. If you don't fancy cooking wander over to the pub, the food on offer is excellent and of a high standard (the Sunday roast was fantastic). The range of Beers, Ciders and Spirits is good. Our bike group will be going back next year.

Beautiful setting, extensive gardens, with attached campsite. Food is good. Traditional pub grub, but it's served in good time, hot and tasty. If you want designer grub, I'd recommend going elsewhere, there's several other venues that cater for that market. The Woodbridge is a lovely family pub. Kids and dogs are as welcome as each other. Resident pub pup is absolutely gorgeous. Although he will approach diners hopefully, if ignored he will not beg, he just bimbles off to see what he can find to play with. He's extremely well behaved. Roast dinner on a Sunday, must book early! Again, well cooked, tasty hot food. Highly recommended

What a start to our two-week motorhome trip! Sue is an amazing host. Glad we arrived before the weekend, when the site was relatively quiet, but we had a good level hard-stand with electric hook-up and the kids loved wading along the River Avon, which runs alongside the campsite. The facilities are all you really need, with clean, powerful showers, toilets, washing-up facilities and a washing machine. Of course, with a great pub serving Wadworth 6X and great pub food, we couldn’t have asked for more, but Sue went the extra mile, and when I showed interest (as a Geologist) in her perfectly formed Anmonite fossil behind the bar, she didn’t hesitate to offer it to me, saying “you’ll obviously appreciated this more than I could”. An amazing host and a great location. Thoroughly recommended. The cycle trip to/from Stonehenge, along the edge of the ranges is recommended, but don’t take your eleven year old. I’m not sure he’ll ever forgive me!

A lovely spot to camp by the river. Basic facilities, as we prefer, but all you need and all clean (toilets, showers, washing up and waste areas). Great site for the dogs. It was reasonably busy on a Saturday in August but didn’t feel crowded. We had a tasty, freshly cooked dinner in the pub and it was great not to have to drive anywhere. We decided to stay for a Sunday roast the next day and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly and efficient service too. A great stopover.

I've been coming to the pub and camping for 4 years. The previous tenant has left and it's now under new management. I love this part of Wiltshire and the pub is in a superb location. The campsite is basic but it's next to the Avon and has basic facilities but at £7 a night what do you expect.I camp all year round so for me this place is heaven. Covid19 put the dampers on it until now and I had my first trip for a number of months. The new managers have grasped the nettle and gone for it. I personally wish them the very best of luck. We visited the Woodbridge for Sunday lunch. We had the carvery because we assumed that was the only choice; we hadn't been there before so didn't know the menu and when the lady behind the bar said "are you having the carvery?", like rabbits in the headlights we said yes because she didn't seem to be someone to argue with.It has to be said the food was excellent, beautifully cooked and the chef who carved the meat could not have been more pleasant. There were four choices of meat, fantastic roast potatoes, roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, carrots, peas, leeks, red cabbage, broccoli, stuffing balls, Yorkshire puddings, gravy, sauces.....if I have left anything out I apologise but as you can see, a very good selection and the vegetables were very nicely cooked. However; sorry to have a 'however' but reviews ask for comments on atmosphere and whilst the food was top-rate we were not made to feel very welcome. Nothing I can particularly put my finger on but no smile as we came in, we were not told whether there was any choice but the carvery, no-one checked if everything was ok - lots of laughs and conversation with a few, presumably locals at the bar but not much interest in anyone else.As I say, sorry to give a negative review but the hospitality you receive is almost if not more important than the food.

This is our new local pub so we thought we’d best try it out. We didn’t realise there is an associated camp site as well, it’s a lovely location to camp if you like the countryside with plenty of local walks. The pub inside is a lovely traditional style with good atmospherics, there is an open log fire which created a very homely atmosphere in the bar area. The landlady was very friendly and welcoming. It was very quiet when we visited but it was mid week. The menu is good with plenty of options one criticism would be that there’s no salad options, if you’re on something like slimming world etc you may struggle to stay ‘on plan’ here. We both ordered burgers and fries which were lovely, good quality food. I thought the chips could have been a bit warmer when they came out but they were very good quality. The desserts were also great I had the cheese cake which was great quality, I could easily have eaten more. The pub has Wi-fi and mobile signal is good.Based on this experience I would certainly recommend a visit, I think this is a better pub now than the other local offerings such as the Antelope and the Ship.

We stayed over the Easter weekend and the views from the pitch we had were beautiful. The staff in the pub were friendly and the atmosphere on the campsite was good and quiet after 11pm. The facilities were ok - nice and clean on the Friday but didn't seem to get cleaned on the Saturday which considering how busy the campsite was meant that the toilet and shower weren't particularly clean by the end of the weekend. Only having one toilet in the ladies, meant there were queues - especially as the campsite was VERY busy- if we had arrived any later on the Friday I am not sure we would have got a pitch with the other group we were staying with. The washing up area was useful but only one sink had hot running water. We didn't eat in the pub but we did have drinks, and the garden with the secure play area is great. The site was dog friendly and everything was easily accessible. I would stay again but probably try to avoid busy times due to the limited facilities on site.

Visited this pub's campsite for a weekend with some friends and our dogs. The pub itself is really nice with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The food was good, tasty, well priced pub grub. The campsite is well laid out but the male toilets only have one cubicle and can be a problem when the site is busy. The showers are clean and work well. It's a really picturesque setting and very quiet despite being next to a road.

My husband and I visited the pub after a trip to Salisbury and as on previous occasions, enjoyed our meals. We were warmly welcomed and our order was quickly taken and served. The menu was varied and well priced. The young lady who served us was very pleasant.

Stopped off at the woodbridge inn on our way up the 303. Had a great stay. The food was exactly what we wanted and expected. Delicious. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere in the pub was really relaxed and friendly. The motor home pitch was tidy, secure and well kept. Also very easy access to the site. The site facilities are basic but clean, well kept and perfectly adequate. Very good value for money. Will definitely return. Had a good time.

We decided to try somewhere a little distance from our home and discovered this pub on the Wadworths site. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. I decided on a jacket potato with vegetable chili. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it was beautifully presented with a board of extras, which were pots of guacamole, sour cream and salsa. The whole meal was delicious. My husband had fish and chips and was able to request garden peas instead of mushy peas. The serving was large and also delicious. We are so pleased we visited and will be returning with friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at The Woodbridge Inn. It was a simple and straightforward carvery (and all the better for it) with a very good choice of food and generous portions.

We hadn’t eaten here before but had heard good things so decided to try it. We booked a table for Saturday lunch just before Xmas and although busy, out food arrived promptly. There was a good choice on the menu and it was presented nicely, tasty and piping hot. The ambience of the place was pleasing, the staff very welcoming so we will definitely be back! Would recommend giving this place a try.

Decided to go out for Sunday lunch, carvery. 11 pound per head. Great selection of meat, turkey, beef, pork and gammon. We choose the turkey. Plenty of meat given plus I had two slices of beef at no extra cost to try. Roast potatoes were tasty, plenty of vegetables and sides to choose from. Very good value. Would definitely recommend.

We have walked to The Woodbridge a few times and the burgers were great on all occasions. The children enjoyed the playground, and we sat with the dogs inside in the warm - what more could you want?!

We camped overnight with friends, the campsite was rural, basic and had everything we love about camping. You could choose where you wanted to pitch your tent, we chose right by the river. It was beautiful, the site allows fire pits which is something we always look for. The toilet/shower block was basic but clean. The staff in the Woodbridge Inn could not be friendlier, the food was amazing and as a vegetarian I loved the separate vegetarian/vegan menu, they even do gluten free!!! We hadn't booked for dinner on Saturday night (do it gets busy) but the staff did their best to fit us in. We booked for the Sunday Carvery which was amazing value and quality, they even do vegetarian gravy (and gluten free) and I was told the meat was really good too. We would definitely go back even just for a night to get away from reality. Hats off to the hard working friendly staff.

It's a decent pub with a large garden. Brilliant if you have young kids as there is a good playground area and the whole garden is enclosed. We did not eat, but the food looked and smelled lovely! The staff were friendly. My only gripe is because I am a real ale drinker, and being a Wadworths pub means they only sell Wadworths bitter, which I don't like very much. If you like Wadworths or drink something other than bitter, this would not be an issue. Overall I liked the place.

Won’t be back - coffee ok but woeful miserable staff. A smile, a bit of engagement, even eye contact makes a difference - you want to feel welcome rather than an intruder. Surely when money is tight places realise they might have to go that bit extra to encourage people to go back.

Website showed great promise. Kerbside appeal good, car parking good, service very good ( very helpful and friendly). Strange layout inside as its old building, dining room has no bar. Garden not used to its full potential, only very old tired play equipment for children. Food reasonable, 2 out of 3 meals okay. Third meal of chicken disappointing, either poor quality meat or overcooked or possibly both !!!!! Empty on a nice sunny lunchtime !!! Sorry but would not rush back.
