This lovely, welcoming vegetarian cafe is well worth a visit. A jewel in Beaminster and loved by locals and visitors alike. The four of us were warmly greeted and offered a good sized round table. The 10 year old with us declared the creamy scrambled egg on toast as the best they had ever had. Beautiful granary bread for the cheese & pickle sandwich and avocado bagels were delicious.

What a delightful evening learning how to make a door wreath. A lovely welcome with snow suddenly falling over the entrance ! The wreath making demonstration was informal with everything supplied to make and design your own wreath after tucking into a scrummy snack menu and mulled wine finishing off the evening with a mince pie ! Just perfect !!!

A lot to like about Brassica. We’ve been several times - lunch and dinner, with friends and as a couple. The food is always good, although menu is small and may feel limited (quality v quantity). The decor / ambience is absolutely lovely. Generally very friendly. Overall, a local gem and, if you like rustic Mediterranean food, it’s well worth making a visit, especially if you’re in the area.

Seemed like a good idea to hold an evening surprise for my wife in our local. I started as a meal for family and a simple birthday cake !! we ended up with a full blown do with ballons, place names (mini penguins) and a rather large cake in the shape of a penguin (we ended up sharing the cake with the whole pub and still took some home). fortunatley a member of the pubs familly is a professional cake maker (thanks Kay).
