The best restaurants serving British food in St Peter and the Waterfront Plymouth South West

We went in the shop for a pasty and a milkshake! We were told it would be a 15 minute wait We weren’t waiting for them to make the pasty 🙄 Also if you wanted cooked food in the cafe section a 30 minute wait!! Needless to say we walked around the corner and into the Discovery cafe. Having previously owned our own takeaway shop selling similar food we were less than impressed!!

i’m not surprised that it shut down seriously use to get there at least two times a week but honestly the last 3 times my friend and myself went for lunch around 1-1.30 they said they had no spuds life ? really no spuds ? sure it was a james martain place ? ps there were others shocked on these occasions to

Great pub and reasonable prices

Pastie was awful taste like boiled potatoes with shredded beef the pastry was fine but the filling had no taste except boiled potatoes big shame was looking forward to the pasty big let down not one for complaining but worst I have ever tasted be going to malcom barnecots next time
