The best restaurants serving British food in Lanivet Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

I have visited the cafe regularly over the years but have become increasingly disappointed with it. Having spent £20 on a cream tea, a single scone (no butter, jam or cream), and an orange juice we were rudely and aggressively told that we couldn’t sit inside as they were preparing for a function later in the day. Our food was served in takeaway boxes with no reduction in cost for this! We were also told that the toilet was closed for cleaning too which was unhelpful given there were young children in our party. The cafe advertises as being open until 4, yet by 3 most of the facilities are unavailable. I will definitely think twice before visiting again.

Had been previously generally monthly but this time ? New owners? Plates smaller, sausage in batter smaller,chips portions in those silly little wire baskets and therefore smaller. No tomato or brown sauces in sachets on table. Won' be going again !!!

Best cream teas around. Friendly service. Liked it so much went back several times. Just a shame they no longer do any savoury dishes

My family had been walking the Camel trail and we stopped for refreshments/lunch. It was my birthday so several of us had the cream tea which was enjoyed. Nice atmosphere friendly and good quality enjoyed by us all

Went out with seven friends who meet up-catch up every three months or so and had a wonderful meal! Each meal was delicious and served hot. Not one complaint from any of us. Friendly service. Highly recommend
