Top rated is the food at this small charming venue.Depending where you sit you can watch the chef cook your food. The food is fabulous .Small menu but big enough choice and realistic for the size of restaurant .I had crab salad, the beef and brûlée for afters.I had to stop short licking the plates.Wine was good, beer good and cider good .Service attentive not all over you great balance. To sum up brilliant small restaurant cracking food and service.

If you are looking for a coffee shop that will give you the best value for your money and more, Cafe Nero in Maidenhead high st will not disappoint. Manisha along with her team are always ready to serve gladly with spectacular tasting beverages. Everyone from the team has the heart of hospitality which makes my visits very heartwarming and memorable. Aside from that, they have a very good sense when it comes to recommendations so even if you are a first timer or not well versed with what you wanna get, that won’t be a big of a problem at all. The place is fairly small but it’s a good place to stop by if you wanna relax or find some quiet place to do your work. It’s easy to find and the ranges of drinks are the best value for the money. Can’t recommend it enough.

Beautifully prepared with potatoes. Strawberries and white chocolate for high tea were a highlight. Thanks for being so accommodating with dietary requirements

I've been working in Maidenhead town centre for almost 4 years now so I have a pretty good idea of the food on offer within the town as I go out for lunch most days. I have to say, since discovering this place a few months back I've been visiting 2-3 times a week. My colleague and I actually have to restrain ourselves from overdoing it. I've tried various items on the menu and no matter what I've ordered or when I've visited the food is fresh and packed full of flavour with generous portions and low prices. For the quality of the food, this place is an absolute bargain.

Lovely Mothers Day roast. Managed to get a table at 6.40pm for my Husband, my Son and his Girlfriend. We had to wait only a couple of minutes then our server came to take our drinks order. He explained it was his 1st shift so was a little flustered but bless him he persevered and took our order. He was very polite and very helpful. What a day to start your 1st shift I didn’t get his name but just wanted to say well done. Roast lamb was amazing too

Service at this place is simply appalling, and the quality of the food isn't much better. We were there on Tuesday and were waiting an age to be served at the bar as the staff seemed more interested in the quiz than the customers. Burger arrived and the bottom of the bun was just mush. I'd have complained if I could have found someone to complain to. Given the restaurant was only about 25% full, I dread to think how bad it is when it's busy.
