The best restaurants serving British food in Witney Central West Oxfordshire South East

We found this brilliant pub in Witney about a year ago and I wrote a very positive review about it, the atmosphere, the food and above all the really welcoming staff . Today we visited again after a drive of one and a half hours to Witney …and guess what ? It is even better than we remember , the 5 sharing plate lunch was superb, with extremely generous portions. But what makes the place so memorable is the staff, friendly, welcoming, and they cannot do enough for the customers , I can honestly say they are the most impressive team I have met in the last few years , they understand totally the concept of customer service . Congratulations to them all, we look forward to our next visit and to trying the recommended breakfast. And my wife says the cappuccino was perfect … Keith Jordan

We have eaten at Delice on many occasions and have never been disappointed. No matter how busy it is we always receive a warm welcome and fantastic service. The food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are very generous. I always feel comfortable eating here, it is very clean and the atmosphere is very friendly. I cannot find fault. We would definitely recommend this place , it’s really good.

What a wonderful find . We were so pleased to spot this little gem having walking away from the bustle of the shopping area as what we got was a real pub with the most amazing and polite staff . The main choice on the menu were limited but the choice and taste of the starters were something else. We chose 3 starters and their taste and amount provided was exceptional. Certainly worth heading the few steps away from the centre

Order a jacket spud and it came . It was on hot plate but the potatoes when was eating it the potato was very cold . Just cheese was hot and melting so order another one . Was very disappointed as i only treat myself .now and there .

Really nice carvery. Fresh food, lovely meat and a nice modern pub with an authentic feel. Friendly staff and would recommend for your Sunday roast!

Positives: Food was delicious, the menu provided lots of options for vegetarians (you could make any burger veggie). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Negatives: On the expensive side. Finding the entrance was a little difficult as the new location is down an alley way. Summary: Very enjoyable meal. Love the new location. Will be visiting again.
