The best restaurants serving British food in Margate Central Thanet South East

Had the roast lamb delivered to me on sunday. Food excellent and fantastic service. I had no cash but food left with me and Gary then sent me his bank details to pay for my lunch

The food here is stunning - the black pudding is the best I've ever eaten. It's now my go to place when wanting a fried breakfast in Thanet!

A very quaint old original part of Margate Town. Lots of small streets and very varied shops selling many beautiful items.

Horrid experience as two staff members Sat right outside toilet listening to my every move. Saturday night was totally empty. Definitely don't go there! Bad music and attitude from security staff. Owner needs to get his priority right and offer a welcoming experience to customers.

Wonderful service, great atmosphere

My husband and I had a good meal. My gnocchi was usual and very tasty. We were so fortunate to have aview over the sea and the most beautiful sunset. All the staff were lovely and helpful. But you do need to book on a sunny evening.

I went here with my son and ordered food and drinks, including a banana milkshake. They served a strawberry milkshake. Instead of acknowledging their error, they wanted me to pay for a replacement. I declined and ultimately ended up getting the food refunded and going elsewhere. Quite why they didn’t just wear the cost price of probably 50p and change the milkshake I don’t know.
