Very friendly and helpful staff, good quality is great and comes fast. Great stop off for bikers on a Sunday.

The Sunday lunch here is excellent . It is the best we have had in a long time and other places we have been to , do not come close for value or quality., hence we have become regulars here even though we have moved from the area.

Our first visit with our Wednesday walking group, although most members had visited before while on a previous walk. The food was excellent, and we ate a wide variety of choices from the menu, including several vegetarian options. The portions were perfect too for all 16 of us hungry walkers! The staff were friendly and efficient, and were also serving another walking group of about a dozen people, plus several couples, at the same time. We all agreed it was a lovely lunch in a very comfortable pub, and hope to be back very soon.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch today. Very enjoyable. Food excellent, staff great and lovely setting. Will go again. Very well priced and amazing quality.

Since the new ownership we cannot fault it. Best chip shop around for miles - friendly service and always cooked fresh. Simply delicious!
