Great fish and chip shop. Easily the best around. Been on a number of occasions and always tastes fresh. Definitely a vast improvement on the previous owners

New owners. Now a real fish & chip shop. Very tasty food. Would definitely recommend it to all of those that live in Upchurch.

New owners made huge difference, large portions, not greasy & fresh food! Our takeaway was brilliant! Highly recommended!

This fish and chip shop has had several new proprietors over the last couple of years and unfortunately some were not great. However, the latest owners have improved the hygiene, quality of food and service to a very high level, I would highly recommend getting a takeaway from here now. I will go as far to say it’s the best fish and chips we have ever had.

Well being a local this has been the only take away in the village we have had. The latest team have just taken over and so far they are doing a fantastic job, the fish was perfectly cooked and not greasy at all for me a double win of lower fat and perfect fish. The family are doing a good.

Brilliant food, Fish,fish cake , Mushy peas and large portions and yes will visit again ❤️We have enough chips for tomorrow so will go for fish and mushy peas ❤️

Very poor service and the staff are really quite rude and do not offer options for what you are ordering. Paid £4.20 for a burger which came with nothing other than a burger in a bun. No offer of lettuce/onions/salad. Really poor

Shop should be closed i got a cod and chips cod if it was cod it was greasy chips were cold disgusting food. When i phoned to complain all the man kept saying i don't use oil, doesn't matter what they cook with it should be hot and edible mine went in bin.

My fish was disgusting it must have been left in the heater for hours or they don't know how to cook fish. Mainly burnt batter and the fish was extremely dry. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY threw it in the bin not even fit for my dog!!!!

They tried to con us out of £17... Pre ordered my food to arrive at 18:00-18:30 on uber eats. Unfortunately at 16:40 had to cancel the order due to changes in circumstances. However this restaurant delivered my order at 17:00! When delivered I stated I had cancelled and already received a refund so did not want the food. Their own delivery driver was so rude about it despite them delivering the food an hour early then wished as well as delivering it after cancelling it. She then requested we pay half the order as the food would be chucked in the bin otherwise. So we did and she walked off with our food!!! We then asked for our food and she said this wasn’t the deal and that we had just paid half the order in cash to them for nothing in return!!! Do not order from them unless you want to be conned out of paying for a fault of there own. The food was cold, nasty and chips were soggy. Hygiene rating is only 3 which is very poor and only noticed after we ordered.
