The best restaurants serving British food in Surrey Heath South East

Rather off the beaten track but worth a visit if you're after a tasty sausage or bacon (or both) sandwich or baguette. Actually make that bacon, sausage AND egg which will set you up for the whole day. Takeaway only, cooked to order so be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes.

Great food , staff were super friendly and very attentive. Our Labrador made himself at home lying across the floor !!! I can see why my wife loves being part of the Mullans Team .

I did not know that there were still any Jennys branches around this way, as I tend to only see them in and around London suburbs. Jennys is basically a copycat Wimpy emulating much of their menu, but better on price. We placed a Deliveroo order and the food was good and hearty.

went to the bear on sun 15 dec 15 of us for a xmas family get togather traveld quite a distance to get there very disappointed i had the lamb shank i must say very nice but the carrots were not cooked and the rest of the dinner was cold i had nearly finnished mine when some of the other dinners turned up not very happy will not return again

My friend and I live quite local to this place. Thought we would give the cafe a try for lunch. Our experience was very disappointing, overly priced substandard food. I ordered a spiced tuna bagel, an apple juice and packet of crisps. I was handed over a tiny apple juice children size carton priced at £1.95 with no straw. The total cost was approx £11 I asked for the drink to be exchanged and paid a further £2.00 on top . My food in total cost £13 My friend had a club sandwich, packet of crisps and a Coke Zero totalcost £10.70. The sandwich was dry and substandard. Two sandwich meals total over £23 for a community cafe is overly priced in my opinion.

I had Jacks fish & Chips withdrawal symptoms, so drove from Slough to Bagshot and when I got there, couldn’t find it - it closed afew years back! Damn!

Great service from Georgina, Jake, Gem and Jess food was excellent definitely return.

Booked for lunch with a friend at the beginning of the week for the weekend, warning sign was there that a table was available, used to be much more difficult. On arrival there appeared to be an issue about our booking so we had to wait, not a problem but not the best of starts. We were finally shown to our table, complete with water smears across it where it had been quickly ‘got ready’! Asked if we’d like some water we requested a bottle of sparkling mineral. Ten minutes later we were then asked again if we’d like some water? We explained that we’d already ordered some which hadn’t been served and could we order our food. This caused some confusion but we got there in the end. House salads were ok, one served with salmon the other with chicken. Salmon was fine but the chicken was overcooked, the salad itself was just ok, the cauliflower contributed to an unusual collection of both flavours and textures. On receipt of our bill it was disappointing to see the charge of two bottles of mineral water rather than the one which we asked for. Servers know what they’ve put on a table and what they’ve removed a simple order two salads, one mineral and one Bloody Mary not that difficult to get wrong surely? This used to be a really great place to enjoy both the environment, food and service, unfortunately not today.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Lunch, well done to the chefs. We had the Beef and Pork mixed meat with crackling, the vegetables and yorkshire puddings were delicious. Quick and friendly service from a lovely gentleman. I have never had poor service in this restaurant, they obviously pick and train their staff well. It can make a world of difference to how much you enjoy your meal. They have a good selection of decent beer too.

Éramos un grupo grande y la comida era decepcionante, el menú es tan grande que estaría mejor ver menos opciones pero comida fresca. El servicio es un poco lento y se puede mejorar, el personal era entusiasta pero joven y para que sea más agradable por la noche necesita algunos ajustes. Vasos usados limpiados, agua ofrecida y repuesta y comprobando si la gente tiene cubiertos todos básicos. La decoración es limpia y fabulosa.

Aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Siempre fue uno de nuestros pubs ‘go to’ especialmente para el almuerzo del domingo, pero ahora es absolutamente excepcional. Tal vez un cambio de gestión, pero ahora muy acogedor y la carne de res era hermosa y sabrosa. El crumble de manzana era divino.
