The best restaurants serving British food in Darwell Rother South East

Food was delivered 10 minutes early which is as good as it gets really. I ordered a Pork burrito and onion rings. The burrito had no flavour at all with a tortilla wrap that was burnt. The onion rings were warm but soggy. I will definitely not be going back. Dreadful.

Great first time . Second time not so good. Cold meals served up. One meals meat grisly Not cheap so one would expect better.

Proper pub, good beer (Harvey’s), good food (they can even cook fish well), friendly staff. It’s 30 minutes from home but now it’s our local.

Stopped here for an early Saturday dinner when it was still quiet. Great friendly service, gorgeous old building, cozy fires were already lit. Prices very reasonable. I had a T-Bone, the others had some scampi and other more "standard" choices. All the food was decent, steak was very generous and with possibly the most chunky, crisp chips I've had in a long time. Selection of drinks seemed decent as well, though we didn't partake.

This is now a fast food fried chicken outlet and Morrisons market, don’t be fooled by the photo..The food is limited and cooked badly, our meals ended up in the bin. I have used this cafe for many many years but I will not be returning.
