Went mid afternoon so as had only just opened it was very quiet. Had the daytime offer on burritos, which included chips, a drink and chicken hot wings, for under £10. Food was great, really tasty and very filling. Loud Mexican music was a bit much for me, but to be expected in a Mexican restaurant! Will visit again in the near future. Recommended.

I work in a hotel I know what hospitality is like so I never complain and am very simpathetic but wow.. So my partner was working in the Chinese restaurant next door It was full so went to this restaurant. Waited really long time to be served had to ask multiple times. l waited even longer for food had to ask for everything I know I was just one person dining alone but that was one of the most stressful £50 I've spent on my self ever. It's a real pitty I just wanted to treat myself which I never do. Please you need another waiter/waitress.

Our waitress Sophie was great all round and was very knowledgeable about the menu as two of are vegetarians. It was so easy then to decide what was suitable for our requirements. Impressed.

My partner booked a table at Tequila and Lime Evesham for Thursday 18th for my birthday whilst visiting the Cotswolds from Hampshire. We’re both real foodies and love to try new places and I’d describe us both as very nit-picky with things. To say that this was the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time is an understatement! The place was rather empty when we got there, which surprised us after our experience as it was so fantastic! The decor is pretty sweet, modern and aesthetic, the vibe and atmosphere good, especially the staff (Sophie) who wonderfully waited on us and checked in. The cocktail menu had 48 choices! 48! Tell me where else you can get 48 options of cocktails alone! Better yet, they were 2 for £7.50 when we were there. They were huge and delicious. Other days I’ve seen are 2 for £12 and that’s still a great deal. We shared the fully loaded nachos, chipotle chicken burritos and beef soft tacos. They were all served very quickly, and their menu says average service time is ~15 mins. They were all generously covered with sauces, stuffed with meat and full of flavour. We did check the previous reviews to see the food and it came out looking exactly like those posted. Our bill included three cocktails, a mocktail and those three dishes for £42! What a frigging bargain. My only down side wasn’t really a down side for me, and that was the limited menu options. We love Mexican so had no trouble picking. I just wish this place was closer to home, I’d be there a lot. Tequila and Lime would do very well in Portsmouth/Southsea. Thank you Sophie for serving us, thank you Chefs and other staff for providing amazing food and drink I wish I could eat again.

Have to give the staff here credit for a really great birthday experience - we had the kaz's diner theme so on brand they were rude and abusive but in an entertaining way, nothing offensive :) free shots for a dance off, delicious chicken wings and loaded fries, and the cocktails flowed nicely :) Reasonably priced and great service - we'll be back!

A lovely place to eat delicious mexican food like tacos, burritos, fajitas, and to drink a large variety of tasty and good looking cocktails. The restaurant it's very spacious, with lots of tables and lots of decorations. The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and the good music on the background creates a lovely ambience to enjoy your time there. Our favourite dishes are Tacos, Sauces bacon fries, buffalo wings and chicken burrito. It is our favourite restaurant. We would highly recommend it!

Amazing food, lovely welcoming serving staff (sophie is usually who wais on us and shes delightful and helpful.) Overall a great place to be on weekday for good food and a good laugh with friends.

Went as a party of 9….3 meals came out then 4 followed 15 mins later….the “last one” came out and forgot to cook the 9th meal. Sent 3 plates back as it tasted like feet…..and don’t even get me started on the cleanliness of the toilets!!! Such a shame as the place has a lot of potential

Waitress was really nice and tried really hard. The food: The food wasn’t great. Nachos were not good, basically tortilla chips, store bought salsa, really sweet guacamole rammed onto a plate. Mains - ordered chicken tacos, had no seasoning, had to cover it in hot sauce - which they claimed was so hot - it was cholula…Wife got the pork, slightly better, but not great. The sour cream was the squeeze long life one old el passo sell, no bueno. Best thing about the food, it wasn’t super expensive, otherwise I’d avoid eating here. Experience: We got there are it was more of a club/bar than a place to eat. Granted I should have done research better, but friends took us there. We grabbed a table, ordered and they had a DJ go on and play loud music poorly mixed music. Whilst eating, they turned the lights off where we were sitting, waitress apologised and got them back on quite quickly. Cocktails: Being a Mexican grill, I expected a decent one but it was super sweet and felt like a pre-mixed one, which was a shame. Summary: If you like Mexican food, don’t go here, it was poor. If you want to go to a bar with decent priced drinks, student vibe, this could be the place for you.

Strange place, like an old bingo hall. Was empty, strange lighting, waitress was nice but over the top. Food was average, just before it arrived, waitresses friend arrived with a dog, she went made clapping and playing with the dog, then brought our food without washing hands…yuk. Got a thimble of guacamole sauce, so asked for more and was charged extra for it. Won’t be returning.

Very poor stone cold chicken nachos.

Really poor quality food. I had chilli nachos; chilli out of a tin smeared over the the top of some stale nachos with a cheese flavour sauce and 4 pieces of jalapeño. Sides were basic frozen and reheated. I would not recommend. Deliverd on time was the only positive I can add.

Unusual place (former bowling alley turned restaurant) to experience great Mexican food. The interior is fiesta-like, but simple and basic. The service and the quality and taste of food are second to none. Server Sophie is ever so lovely, attentive and kind

The hot n saucy burger was exactly that, but the seasoned fries could have just as easily been normal fries, couldn't taste any seasoning

It isn’t Mexican food Waited 15 minutes for the starters despite only two tables being occupied No draught ale, tried to order Brewdog 4 for £12, didn’t have any, Guiness was flat and tasted of pipe line cleaner swapped for cider which was rancid and flat Starters were appalling, chicken tenders were deep fried and rock hard. Sweetcorn fritter sloppy and tasteless Tenders knocked of bill Chicken fajitas burned chicken without a discernible flavour Burrito flacid and sloppy without taste Music is very loud and it’s difficult to have a conversation It used to be bad as craft and skewers but now it’s been rebranded as Mexican with the same staff, it’s worse. Don’t waste your money

Let’s start with the positive - the service was brilliant & cannot fault, lovely lady whose name I should have asked, looked after us & was fantastic. The food, however, was something else. Pretty sure the chefs have never had Mexican food in their lives, because it was something but not Mexican. The “sweetcorn & spring onion” fritters were basically onion bhajis with sweetcorn in them, zero spring onions in sight. The burrito was an amusing blend of bland (and brown?) chicken, shredded carrot, sour cream, and some microwave rice that makes Uncle Ben’s look gourmet. They also have no idea what refried beans are meant to be, but four kidney beans is not it. My partners starter of Chicken Tenders was anything but, could barely cut with a knife, and his fajitas were pretty much donner meat with some onions thrown in. Hopefully it’ll get better, but if you want Mexican, you might as well go to Taco Bell.

Great atmosphere, great food, and prolly best cocktails I had in while.

The burger for £7.50 was the size of a MC chicken burger which is slightly less than £1.... and it also arrived cold. Waste of money, never getting burgers from here again. The 3x tacos were decent and I might get them again one day but that burger just ruined the whole order for me... I wish I could get a refund.

Great choice of food with a mexican theme, but without being over the top. Food quality is very good and the portions are very generous. Service is where the restaurant really shines. All the staff are fantastic but Sophie is stand out in her efforts to make the experience enjoyable. Every restaurant should have a Sophie!
