Atmosphere was lovely, waitress was wonderful, friendly, couldnt have been more helpful and attentive and served our drinks immediately so that was fine. We had heard that the Sunday roasts were good and the portions were very good but the food was the most bland I have ever had, not tasty at all and the yorkshire pudding was one of those tiny cheap frozen ones like they sell in Iceland supermarket. With so much competition in Bexhill will not be returning.

A really cool Irish pub with friendly staff, a nice Sunday roast, and a fun monthly quiz. I definitely recommend.

To be honest Milligans is my local pub I love the old school Atmosphere . Last week we hired the downstairs bar for my mums 80th birthday we had a fantasic spread of food cook by Milligans and was so tasty we had a amazing day for my mum thanks so much

We found it on the web and booked Sunday lunch ahead of visiting Bexhill. It lived up to the reviews. Lunch was simple but expertly cooked. Service was prompt and pleasent and it was not expensive. HIghly recommend it.

Great pub.met my son and grandson for a drink .Felt safe and the staff were brilliant.If you want a pub where you feel safe, with good atmosphere and speedy service then this is the pub.Must highly recommend.

Went for Sunday lunch with my granddaughter. Not many people there. Ordered Two roasts 1 chicken and 1 small beef. I have lunched there before and was very pleased with that meal. This time it was ok nothing special the veg was the cheapest swede carrots and white cabbage, the thing that socked us was the price of a glass of Coco cola £4.40. How do they justify that? I'd say the whole thing was mediocre.

Always a decent pint and food is good. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that they allow vaping inside which as a non smoker I think is wrong .

Just popped in on the off chance for a cheeky roast. The front of house ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the food was great, well presented, hot and tasted good and very well priced.

Great friendly atmosphere, decent sunday roast and comfortable seating. Friendly bar staff. For a very very wet Sunday, this saved the day ! Tip, you might want to book ahead to reserve a table, but unlike the other place we tried who had a week plus waiting list !! The only thing that let the venue down, was the age and condition of the toilets. Mould in there, just odd as the lighting looks very recent, but no ventilation. It's an old building so being right by the sea side, one might expect such. I feel the owners are working their way through the building, and I hope to return one day and pop that last star on. Cracking food, great staff and atmosphere. Thank you.

Came here for Sunday roast after santa dash on seafront ,all 5 of us enjoyed our meal and deserts we will be coming back as good value for money,lovely food and service,the ginger cheesecake was fantastic

We enjoyed a good Sunday roast in this traditional English pub. The roast beef was tender and accompanied by roast potatoes, yorkshire puddIng and cauliflower cheese, and copious amounts of cabbage, carrots and suede served separately. The service was friendly and helpful, and the meals arrived promptly. Mine was accompanied by Sharp's Solar Wave, which was delicious.

Went on a Wednesday night to watch Champions League football. It was very quiet but the pub was nice.

Average pub for a pint. Pretty roomy and busy with locals. Seemed like a friendly place. Street parking.

Just had a roast dinner delivered from Milligans. Absolutely lovely, with superb desserts too. Will be ordering again to be sure!

Quite fussy about eating a roast out. But this was recommended and we have been twice now, delicious, very friendly staff, As popular would recommend booking to avoid disappointment 🙂

Went and had our Sunday roast today. Appsolutley gorgeous. Plenty to eat. Followed by us both having different puds. Again they were lovely. Service was friendly and good.

Can not fault, food, staff lovely and friendly and a very clean pub/restaurant. Toilets were lovely and clean .

I travelled from Ramsgate, Kent, to have Sunday lunch here with my Mum. I wasn't disappointed. Friendly welcome on arrival. Mum had Roast beef, I had lamb. Very generous portions. Well cooked and presented. Desserts were great, too. The Guinness was one of the best outside of Dublin. We were ably looked after by the wonderful Meg. She is a credit to the business. All in all, highest recommend. We shall return.

I went to Milligans yesterday 16th I must have gone to a different pub To all the other reviews Honestly It’s The Worst Sunday Roast I have ever had Seriously The Worst Trust Me All Processed Meat I find you Very Rude If that meat is from a local Butcher It must be Aldi ? What a Reply There’s only one person who is Deluded here That’s You Mr Processed For your Imformation The booking wasn’t in my name But rest assured We will not be coming back!!!

The pub quiz Thursday was excellent, well managed and a good crowd, no problem parking after 8pm and very close to the venue.

Friendly service, decent pint of Doom Bar,& strong WiFi that's easy to get onto. My favourite Bexhill pub.

Fantastic function room, able to decorate as you want within reason. Had a wonderful Stag/Hen do there. Bar staff super friendly.

I have had a meal here a number of times and has always been top quality. We recently booked a table for 10 for a family get together on a Saturday afternoon. We chose from the bar menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Personally I had the mushrooms with goats cheese and caramelised onions, with difficulty in tasting certain foods, I can honestly say this is the best food I have tasted in a long time. If your just out for a quick drink or a meal, with its great food, drink and atmosphere I can certainly recommend Milligans.

Had our first experience of milligans today for Sunday lunch,it was well worth the wait, the food was delicious, piping hot, fresh and tasty, the two women at front of house and bar knew everyone bye name and were very friendly and ultra efficient, will definitely be making this a regular.

Had a Sunday roast highly recommended for quality and very reasonably priced. Very accommodating and friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Really friendly atmosphere, the service was amazing and the Sunday Roast was really good. Their liver and onion dish is one of the best as well. Definitely worth a visit although for a Sunday Roast you have to book.

Friendly service, comfortable while still applying the current restrictions, luckily it has spacious seating, and I hear good food available.

We discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and have been eating here regularly since. The food is excellent we eat out a lot at various standards of food. We love everything we have ordered the vegetables are perfectly cooked so tasty. This is a good pub menu but the food is so well cooked. We had the Christmas menu yesterday and it was the best I have ever had. Unbelievable but true. The staff are very good with a lovely smile. Thank you

A great Sunday Roast in a busy pub. One solitary waitress looked after the whole room. Credit to her. Value for money and a proper English Public House.

Met two friends today and enjoyed the best Sunday Lunch I have had in a very long time. Beautifully cooked it was hot and served by a very pleasant waitress. I had the roast beef with delicious roast potatoes fresh selection of veg and Yorkshire pudd. Hot beefy gravy. This was well worth £12 and I will be going back there very soon. The after dinner coffee with mints was excellent too.

We had been out for the day & had ended up in Bexhill, in the evening. All the Restaurants were Fully Booked, but Fortunately, we found Milligans. There were spare Tables & Chairs, & Menus on the Tables. The Locals were all Drinking & having a laugh, so we Sat Down at a Table. The Very Helpful Barman, came over & took our Drinks order, came back with our Drinks & took our Food Order. The Food turned up a while later, 2 of us had a Curry, while 1 of us had the Pie & Veg. All was Very Nice & a Reasonable Price, but most of all, was the Hospitality of the Barman. Well Done Young Man. If you're in Bexhill & fancy something to Eat or Drink, give Milligans a try. Well Worth it.

While visiting my sister she ordered two takeaway roast dinners and I have to say I just wish I had a milligans near me as the meals are absolutely brilliant and if I lived here I would definitely be a very regular customer

Excellent service, the best people and even went the extra mile to squeeze in my BLT when the kitchen had just closed. Amazing atmosphere too.

We have been to Milligan's a few times for drinks and it's always been a friendly atmosphere. Tonight it was our third stop looking for a place to watch the England game. They put together a table for us last minute and the service was great. We then decided to get food, it was honestly the best meal we've had this year, I can't believe we haven't eaten there before. We will definitely be back and just wanted to say thank you, you really made our evening

A must try for evening take away or delivery and the Sunday roast is the best around. They are delivery and doing take away due to covid restrictions at the moment.

I got a takeaway last night from milligans, a lovely chicken curry and a macaroni cheese. Food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour. Delivered on time and still piping hot. I couldn't reccomend enough, if you haven't already tried their takeaways give them a call. Won't be disappointed.

Not impressed. Seemed like a watering hole for the locals. Full of absolute drunk guys being very loud and the prices weren't amazing either. Wouldn't recommend going here!

Due to Covid it was table service only. There appeared to be only one waitress serving drinks so it took along time to get round of drinks. Toilets weren't very clean. Drink prices are reasonable. This place does have TVs for sport however there aren't many tables free near the TV as they are all taken by locals.

Just stumbled across this pub on our way to get some lunch i really fancied and roast. Looking in through the window we saw 2 people eating there roast so we went in. The barmaid was very friendly and the roast was not disappointing I would go as far to says its the nicest roast I have eaten out and will definitely be popping back and recommending this pub to friends and family

Traditional pub decor but welcoming with addition of a live band on our visit. Waited quite a while for food to be served but was very happy when it arrived., Good portion,hot and delicious. One person in our group found the meat and gravy thick and heavy but this appealed to everyone else. If you like your roast dinner traditional, you will love this.

Did not eat but came in here for a nightcap after leaving the De La Warr early. Just around the corner off the seafront it was very welcoming to find a pint of Harveys on offer before bed to cheer me up. Friendly bar staff and interesting ambience. Was a quiet night but I would imagine can get very busy with the number of tables and chairs around a large room decorated with photographs of sporting heroes gone by. A real pub worth going back to.

Used Milligan's fairly regularly... but was put off on a couple of occasions by a very loud , self opinionated, racist , using foul language even though several couples were around .... However I've always found the staff and service exemplary .

One of the quieter pubs in Bexhill with a reputation for good Sunday lunches, located close to the sea front. Used to be quite friendly, but the odd opinionated "bar-fly" can spoil the otherwise pleasant and fun atmosphere which is a bit of a shame, particularly if you are just looking for somewhere to relax. Like most pubs in the area, it probably struggles to compete with the likes of Wetherspoons and where they had unique beers, 'spoons simply replicates these at much reduced prices. Good for sports though and probably worth paying the extra for this!

Always a great Irish pub venue rum by Peter front of house and bar, and Mandy head chef and a great roast turned out on each of our visits. Never disappointed always washed down with a good red.

Nice place friendly staff great food ... bar staff should use a calculator to add up bill as I was overcharged slightly . But it was friendly and clean and I still left a tip . Worth a visit but pre book to ensure a table as it gets quite busy
