The best restaurants serving British food in Jericho and Osney Oxford South East

We really enjoy and appreciate the well prepared gluten free pizzas, the good selection of Little Ox brews (including GF brews), and good service. It’s worth the walk on a nice day.

We had a great evening at The Jericho. The staff, Ellie in particular, were so helpful - allowing us to try some of the different beers before deciding. A friend was visiting from Sweden and they loved the experience. Thank you

Despite living in West Oxford for more than 10 years, for some reason I had completely failed to go to the Punter. Shame on me, because it is great! A celebration for a major birthday was made truly celebratory with wonderful food and drink. A roaring fire, comfortable tables and chairs, and lovely food and drink, with great service, and very reasonably priced - what more could you want? We will be back - a lot. Thank you!

We got married here in September and can't recommend it highly enough. The events team are fantastic and supported us throughout the planning stages, always coming back quickly with answers to our questions and doing everything they could to accommodate our requests. Particular mention for how amazing Emily the events manager was in both the run up to the day and the day itself - she made the whole day run without a hitch and it was completely stress free. Her experience means she was able to fix problems before they even happened and anticipate every scenario. The team also did a wonderful job of dressing the room and the outside area, and even put everything back in the boxes they came in - a level of care and detail we really appreciate. Also a special mention for the food which was delicious and plentiful. No one went hungry, and the sharing food menus worked really well and added to the social atmosphere. The venue itself has lots of space both inside and out - we had space to dance a Ceilidh and there was plenty of seating for those not dancing inside, and doing our blessing under the willow tree was stunning! The riverside out the back is a beautiful spot for photos too. We really loved having our wedding here and we'll definitely be back to visit the pub again.
