Popped in for a few drinks with friends and I have to say it’s such a lovely atmosphere and all the staff were super friendly and helpful! I think I will be bringing more friends with me next time.

Came here with some friends and was very happy with everything , good quick service with a friendly staff member who was very knowledgeable , would definitely return and recommend to visit !

Popped in for some lunch with my family , the food was great and came quickly , good value for money and I will be returning 100%

great british pub with a lively atmosphere. the sticky chicken here is phenomenal, i didn't know you could make chicken melt in your mouth while still being crispy. i make a point to seek out the jude when ever i'm in the area (and sometimes when i'm not!) just to grab a bowl.

We recently visited this bar in Jericho. The bar is very nice with a large number of tables. They offer a large number of hot and cold drinks. Highly recommended.

We had the pie and chips - it was delicious, the kids were very happy with their bacon and cheese burgers. The staff are friendly, there are board games to play, the pub is welcoming.

We stopped off here for a mid-afternoon snack and beer as we had walked past it previously and it looked interesting. Maybe because of timing I had to wait a long while to find someone to order from but eventually I was able to flag someone down Had the chips side order and they were well cooked and came out piping hot so that was good. Beer selection was good for our tastes too. Atmosphere was of course pub feel but had a slightly newer feel to it. Overall nice and cozy still and had a good place to watch any sports should there be something to watch. Despite the initial hurdle with finding someone to take our order, I'd say this place was a nice visit for a pint if you're in the area and likely has good food should you be so inclined.

The food and the ambience are really pleasant. The outdoor area in particular stands out and is even largely covered. Had the barbecue burger, which also came with 2 delicious onion rings.

We visited for a light lunch. The lunch deal was excellent value. Portions are not huge but perfectly adequate. Food was generally excellent, although the salad rather drowned and rather soggy in a rather too spicy dressing. Service was friendly and helpful , effective and considerate. General ambience is pleasant. Clearly popular. Board games available if that's of interest

One of the better options to watch football matches in Oxford. Good variety of beers and ciders, pretty good food options, and nice sized TVs. Pulled mushroom chili and Mac and cheese were surprisingly good, while scampi and chips were not. Great place to hang out.

Went out with a group of friends in and the jude was our first stop, and best pub we visited all night! Fantastic atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff with a cracking selection of drinks. Food was also fantastic.

Disappointing Sunday roast with overcooked chicken, stale veggies and bland gravy. The staff tried to compensate us for the bad food with their many offers for drinks etc but unfortunately it's not the front-of-house that needs attention at this enterprise. The food was entirely dissatisfactory

Very attentive and friendly staff! Speedy service alongside a multitude of beers and alcohol to choose from. Food was smashing, absolutely loved it - proper pub grub. Kaylee was very friendly and welcoming, couldn’t have had better service! Thanks guys

A fine pub for a quick drink, but unfortunately the two deserts we had tasted terrible, one slightly of onions and my friends glass of wine was also weird tasting. Staff never cleared our table or came to see if we were ok either. On the upside have games and has a nice atmosphere

Jericho is awash with places to eat, many of them seem to specialise in attracting a clientele more bothered by being seen eating there than wanting a tasty plate. Jude the Obscure is the opposite of this. I had the lunch deal and choose the steak sandwich with chunky chips and a pint of beer. It's so easy to overcook a minute steak but this was pink and with the mayo and mustard schmeer was just fantastic. The chips were crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Just divine. Another special mention has to be to the staff; both were super helpful,sunny and welcoming. I really liked the music too. So before you stray beyond The Phoenix Cinema, pause,turn round and treat yourself to lunch at this pub.

Excellent pub, in the middle of Jericho. Very cosy outdoor area, lovely staff (especially Maria!), and very good food. Definitely my favourite pub in Oxford.

As always such a great visit! Staff are fantastic! There has been a change in management since we last visited, we loved the previous manager but can see the place is in safe hands with the new guy! Everything under control and a great leader. It was great to speak with Karl! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic. Green king has a mixed reputation but this place is fantastic!! Thank you all xx

We came here with 6 adults and 56 students. Service was great, the atmosphere was very nice and the food was very tasty. The batter on the chicken filet was perfect, light, crispy and tasty.

We visited during a quiet mid-week early evening so I can't comment on atmosphere but there is a healthy welcome and good-natured promot service. The food offering is not particularly broad but iis good quality pub food ata fair price.

We booked Jude the Obscure for a wake. The food was fantastic and the ambiance in the pub was excellent. The staff was also very polite and always around to help. Thank you so much for the great service and experience during this challenging time!

This pub looks great from outside - decorated well and clean, well lit outside areas. We booked this online for a cosy Sunday Roast, however they sold out at 4pm. We had a booking for 5pm, after work. (Apparently if we had added “Sunday Roast” in the notes section online when booking, they would’ve held some roasts back). Unfortunately they broke this bad news to us AFTER we had bought drinks…. We drunk up and left to eat elsewhere. Really disappointed.

We had a great time here! The staff was welcoming and friendly, they even brought water and biscuits for our dog. The food was just perfect and the atmosphere made our evening, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves. We will be back very soon!

Had a very enjoyable meal here with 11 friends recently. The only downside was the rugby on the tv and very loud cheering etc. Didn’t know it was a SPORTS hub! Caitlin was lovely and served us very well.

I booked for 20 people and the staff were so helpful and the booking was really easy (as compared to many other places in Oxford that seemed to shy away from larger groups!) There was no deposit and I received an email confirmation. The food is basic pub grub as normal with a Green King pub and most people in our group were happy with the choices though it wasn't flexible, you couldn't mix and match and had to have what was on the menu. For instance, one person wanted to avoid carbs by having salad rather than rice with a dish, but that wasn't possible (I would have thought that was a simple change to make). Overall, the food was good for the money we paid. Please note though that they stop serving food at 9pm. There are signs that say this, we just didn't notice them! The staff were lovely and they coped even though it was a busy Friday and we were a large party. One of the most convenient things was that we could all order and pay separately, none of the 'who had what?' at the end of the evening!
