Zeba was super helpful and went the extra mile to help with everything. Wouldn’t rate the service with regards to food and drink. Then the be laughed off from the manager Chloe was really professional. Not what you expected when paying so much for a top tier club.

We had an amazing time. The food was outstanding and the service faultless. The view from the first floor balcony was great. Definitely going to come back. A special mention to our lovely waitress Lauren.

I have been here a few times before for drinks only, and the staff are always very friendly, and it's a lovely old building. So given the many good reviews, I thought I would try it for lunch, and brought my friend here for a birthday lunch treat on a Saturday. The menu was very limited, and not at all what I was expecting for a weekend lunch choice. I had a camembert to start, which was somewhat bland but ok, and we both had a chicken and leek pie for our main. This would ordinarily not have been our choice, but the menu was limited. It had hardly any chicken pieces in it, mostly just a bland creamy sauce with leeks, and came with broccoli, which was very firm and difficult to eat. We could not eat much of the broccoli. We asked if we could have chips or some other potato with the pie, but were told that we could not - even though there was another main on the menu which came with mash. Which then made us realise that they are simply buying in ready prepared dishes/meal portions, which they are heating up. The staff suggested we buy a bag of nachos to go with our pies instead - I have never come across the combination of nachos with chicken pies before, and did not want to try it! The dessert menu was equally limited in choice - we both ended up having ice creams, and rather than serve scoops in dishes, they handed us small cartons with plastic spoons in the lids. I didn't know that I was buying ice-cream at the cinema. The ice cream was nothing special. All in all, it was a pretty poor experience, and with a diet coke and a glass of wine, I consider that a total of over £50 was too much for this meal. If I go back to the pub again, I would only have a drink, and certainly not bother with the food.

Excellent service from the waiting staff. We were shown to a lovely round table with a view overlooking the terrace & garden. Orders for drinks taken quickly followed by our food order a few minutes later. Our server was attentive without being overdone. The venue was very busy for a lunchtime & the overall atmosphere was great.
