Beautiful setting with wonderful views. Some of the waiting staff seemed unhappy in their work. Lots of management staff wandering about. One lady with coloured hair clearing tables picking up as much as she could not using a tray (Health and Safety) We waited 40 minutes for meal. Scrambled Egg over cooked. Crayfish on flatbread tastless. Would we return NO. Would rather go to Cafe further down

My coffee experience failed at the first hurdle. £4.95 for a flat white. A coffee that could be "enjoyed" over looking a dusty car park, or from a hard looking interior with no atmosphere whatsoever. This is just nonsense. From two previous experiences I had looked forward to sitting on the balcony overlooking the vineyard. What a let down. I believe it is a legal requirement for traders to display prices. Then is none on show for consumers to make an informed decision.

Great little Pub, ploughman’s lunch is a thing of beauty, bring a good appetite as the portions are very generous, Harvey’s beer straight off the barrel and the staff are so friendly - 100% recommended

I'm a real fan of The Bolney Stage, I've been visiting for over 30 years. But the fish and chips I had last night was just not good enough at any price, let alone £17.45. The fish was undercooked, so much so that halfway through, having discovered that the thickest part of the fillet was barely warm and the batter uncooked beneath the crust, I had to send it back for a re-fry. Presentation of the dish was none too clever either, with a broad pool of rather runny mushy peas, and a wide scattering of chips. The other two diners were happier with their meals, but neither said the food was excellent. I'll go again, but I'll be expecting better next time.
