The best restaurants serving British food in East Meon East Hampshire South East

We stayed one night and ate in restaurant. Only had starters but food was very nice. Friendly staff member called Olly. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Good nights sleep. Then breakfast !! One male member of staff who just couldn’t be bothered. Zero customer service. Got us a hot drink but no offer of fruit juice, toast or any cereal. Glasses on table too. Hot breakfast was lovely though.

Outstanding in every way -seemless and attentive service in an historice atmosphere. Wonderful cuisine - something for all tastes

Rude barman who was sarcastic towards us both and not suited to customer facing role. He would be better working on an assembly line. Ruined our hopes of a nice drink after a 14 x mile SDW walk. Won't be returning.

An excellent pub in every respect. The food was good value and delicious, we had a lovely welcome and enjoyed excellent local ale.

Went there for my daughters birthday. Had a lovely lunch. Will go back.
