Good service and nice food. Thought it was a little bit pricey for sandwiches and coffees. Not the warmest cafe I’ve been in

Staff very professional, wiped tables, tables spaced out, markers on floor by carvery.Got busy as we were leaving and louder as more families arrived.Great food and great service and we felt safe.Don’t think the menus were single use .....thought they had to be....?.Massive thank you to all the staff for a great experience.Ps book on line

We came on Saturday evening to use a coupon we had been given we ordered our food at 6 pm and we're told it would be a 45 minutes for food which we accepted even though we thought it was a long time to wait our food eventually came an hour and fifteen minutes late .The waiter said they didn't expect to be as busy we had to ask the waiter to clear the table when we sat down which eventually was cleared after around thirty minutes .When the food arrived we had to ask for knifes and forks to eat with when the waiter came back the knifes and forks were still wet.!! The food was satisfactory we had the gammon with egg and chips and scampi with baked potato we had to ask for butter for the potato no lemon was given for the fish .I think the Management need to employ more staff at weekend

My husband and I visited today and got a footlong chicken and bacon sub with tiger bread. This has to be the best sub I have ever tasted. This was made by Callam who was a lovely member of staff. So friendly and professional. We had a latte and husband had a tea. His colleague Tika was very pleasant too. A lovely little team who worked together well.

I went to the Grapes for a quiz and a couple of beers. The sign in the pub said "the home of cask beer" and there was only one cask beer available, and that took about half an hour to be served. And it was Wainwright, which is all over the country like a rash. Not very exciting. The service was dreadful, and the choice was just as bad.
