Incredible fish and chips! Their regular fish and chips is larger than any large fish and chips iv ever had so you sill never leave hungry. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere,

Stopped here for a couple of drinks and something to eat whilst on a walk round Hadrian’s Wall. Gorgeous views, ordered a few starters to share - halloumi fries, salt and pepper chicken, potato skins
Stayed overnight. Room comfortable lovely bathroom. Staff were great. Friendly and did not visibly react to one of our party who has dementia and some occasionally unusual behaviour.
Really enjoyed our meal here - we both had the very good asparagus starter but my mains lamb was decidedly tough. A good range of bottled bears were available but we had wine.
