The best restaurants serving British food in East Barnet Barnet London

Stopped off in this small (artisan) bakery to grab a quick coffee while waiting for the rain to pass and decided to try some of the baked goods too: just the right amount of crispy pastry and really tasty filling. I decided to take a loaf of their sourdough home. It was delicious. I will definitely be back.

First-class, tasty food and atmosphere. Wide range of enterprising seasonal Mediterranean based meals. Good value set menues and a la carte. Choice of well-priced wines. Friendly family feeling. Strongly recommended. I live locally and it's always my first choice for comfortable 'eating out'.

For the price I don't think Spoons can be beaten. We chose the drink and meal deal and had a Sunday roast with a Tanquary gin plus bottled mixer for just over £13 squid. Check out any spoons near a University and it will likely be packed with students who know a good deal when they see one. The Railway Bell has a more mature clientel The entire chain deserves to go from strength to strength.
