I don't understand the negative reviews. Airport bar. Always more expensive. Pizza fantastic. Service great. Can't fault honestly!

Another triumph! Wednesday 30th September: 7 very hungry and equally thirsty diners arrived. Several hours later they left, fully refreshed having enjoyed excellent food and drink. Our waitress was charming, polite and very efficient, a credit to the Black Lion. I said in my previous review that I would be back and I have been and I will be again. Highly recommended.

I am from Australia, and must say the battered fish was a bit dry. Chips were great though.

We arrived to find that the staff appeared to be overwhelmed, so I walked through to the main pub, where I asked the other staff if we could order tea and cake. Once the staff arrived we were swiftly given the cake options, and asked for tea for two and a soft drink. We had to wait for about 15 mins for our drinks, after the cake had already been deposited on our table. It took several prompts, to be told that they had a rush on, and they were waiting for drinks. The actual cake was very tasty, but the occasion would have been so much 8mproved if the drinks had arrived at the same time..

Terrible, food was awful, tasteless and mushrooms were burnt - completely black. Please don't go, also very expensive. Never ever coming back, 35£ down the drain
