The best restaurants serving British food in Town Close Norwich East of England

Visit this place weekly, for breakfast for lunch, with some buddies from work. Great food, great value. Includes Coffee or Tea with out choices.

We just turned up after an awful Air BnB the night before in the hope of a room for 2 nights. Staff were brilliant booked us a room held our luggage for us until room was ready, only an hour (and we turned up early). Free car park great breakfast comfortable clean rooms. Lovely staff close to city centre what’s not to like

Great location, only 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Norwich. Roast dinner was excellent, staff were great. Room was more than adequate as well. Will come back for sure.

This evening my partner and I and our 7 year old daughter dropped in to The Eagle for an impromptu supper. The bar man Eoin was friendly, easy going & very much a ‘can do’ guy. 2 of the meals were of a high standard but there was a small issue with the third. Jasmine, who was managing the restaurant, was superb, nothing was too much trouble and the issue was rectified swiftly. The customer service & Jasmine’s professionalism were superb and we want to thank her for her expertise and kindness. We would definitely eat there again and our daughter thought the mint choc chip ice cream was the best she had ever had! 5 stars from us & Jasmine should have a staff award. 🥇

Make sure we all support local businesses. The unthank beautiful pub and beer garden.

Only ordered hot drinks and server (Tilly) was very friendly. Took a while for drinks to be prepared. Lots of staff making drinks so no need for delay Atmosphere good
