Excellent food from Sonya and excellent service from Shauna (which I’ve probably spelt wrong) Fairly priced for the portion sizes . The best local pub. Fantastic hosts... so welcoming, even for someone who doesn't go there that often. Beautiful old pub with nice garden. Highly recommended for a beer or two.

First visit to The Jester... Friendly welcome. Quick & efficient service. Food: Superb roast, a well presented hearty plate. Chicken stuffed with spinach, roasties, Yorkshire pudding with vegetables on the side. My partner had the Roast Pork which was equally tasty. Honey comb cheesecake didn’t touch the sides! A delight not to have to cook Sunday lunch, thank you all. We will be back 🙂

Best ghost pub ever. Went in, walked around, nobody in, no bar staff, all lights on, beer pumps all lit up but nobody home. We were there for about 3 minutes and then walked out. What a waste

We hired the function room for a family, significant, birthday party. What a cracking place, great buffet spread, good choice of beers and wines and great service from friends staff. Thoroughly recommend it. Rooms are also available, however we didn't use them.
