⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Proper Turnaround Thanks to Brian & Claire! Since Brian and Claire took over the Waggon and Horses, the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. The pub has regained its warmth, charm, and sense of community that had been missing for a while. You can tell they genuinely care — not just about the place itself, but about the people who walk through the door. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and relaxed. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint, a catch-up with friends, or one of the regular events they’ve brought in, you always feel like you’re part of something. The food and drink offering has improved massively — quality, consistency, and great value across the board. Brian and Claire have brought energy and passion back into the Waggon and Horses. It feels like a proper local again — the kind of pub you actually look forward to visiting. Keep up the great work!

Under new management since August and the young barman has put so much effort into enticing people to this lovely old Inn. Venue hire, pool tournaments, live music, poker nights and accommodation, it's a great place for a pint and to spend time with your mates!

Yes it's a retail outlet. No it's not really a discount outlet. A factory outlet suggests lots of discounted items, seconds etc. You won't get that here. You will get a factory with a standard shop and cafe with 2 small shelves of bags of 'uglies' that really aren't that reduced at all. Very disappointing. If you live locally then, hey, you have a Hotel Chocolat shop on the edge of town. Don't make a special trip here, it's not worth it.
