HOTEL Chocolat in Huntingdonshire

Please do not see this as advertisement as an outlet. Nearly everything is full price and a very small amount of items are 30% off which was disheartening as I made the journey down to visit especially. Absolute rip off and poorly advertised. Trading standards need to look at this advertising .

This is simply a hotel chocolat shop, with usual rrp prices of all the shops. Therefore, unless you're in the area, it isn't worth a special trip.

Not an outlet shop as advertised, all items full priced. don't waste your time visiting, drinks more expensive then my local store.

An impromptu drop in resulted in a a wonderful experience. First time trying the Hot Chocolat and it is now my new favourite drink...the cream on top is divine 😋. Fab service in all areas, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Bought a beautiful velvertiser too as to good a price not too!! Thank you team HC. ❤️

Not an outlet store at all, just a normal store. So no point making a special trip. Would have been very disappointed if I had not been just passing and made a very small detour to visit.

We visited based on its ‘outlet’ status. We were expecting good deals on broken stuff, stuff close to sell-by-date etc. Everything was full price. I asked a staff member if it was an outlet store and was told it didn’t really work as an outlet store and so they changed it to a normal store. Waste of my time going then! The store is clearly advertised as ‘outlet’ and signposted as such on the building. Don’t bother…….

Absolutely NOT an outlet! They need to reword their branding for this shop. Not a single bargain to be had. Very expensive chocolates that you will only save on if you multi buy! Making two boxes of their standard chocolates still £40!

We came to get bargain Christmas gifts as its Outlet. We drove a 3 hour round trip. Nothing was outlet price. Order on the website and save the petrol money. Total con

We visited because it is advertised as an outlet shop. There are signs as you go into the car park saying Hotel Chocolat Outlet, however everything was full price and the Outlet is actually in Huntingdon. We still bought items but, signage needs to be changed,

Absolutely agree with previous reviewer - I thought ‘Outlet’ meant less than full price, I was expecting something like a Cadbury factory shop with mis- shapes and oddments cheap, but alas no, all full price nice cafe though.

Decided to call in on hottest day of the year and although the drink and sundae were ok, I really did feel ripped off. Using the VIP.ME card and getting 20% off, I didn’t realise until the first spoonful that it meant 20% less ice cream.

Over rated. Chocolate has quite close sell by dates. Some of it didn’t look in great condition. The “indulgent “ hot chocolate was not hot. Overpriced coffee. Lack of other snack/food options if you fancied something other than chocolate. About 5 tables if that indoors meaning you had to sit outside freezing cold. The heaters in the booths were useless. Fully of large mummies and their snotty little darling children. Can now say that I’ve been but will never be back.

Came as it’s supposed to be an outlet but it's a cafe with full priced goods, changed to non outlet in Sept 2022. As usual very expensive chocolate. Nice enough shop, good parking, on an industrial estate.

This “outlet shop” is charging the same as full priced shops. Presumably because it’s Christmas. Came here many times before and they always have good deals, however it’s December so they are charging the same price as the normal high street shop that I could have gone to and saved myself the long drive. Waste of time.

I'm not a big chocolate lover, but we were advised to visit this factory outlet shop. The smell is amazing and the selection is vast. For Chocolate lovers it's a must visit

I was surprised at how small the shop and cafe was but it was really lovely! Very good hot chocolates with lots of choice for other drinks too. The discounted items were a total steal as well! I got a lovely few sets of chocolates including the vegan selection for friends and the dunkable biscuit set.

LeeAnne served us and gave superb customer service. Could not be more helpful when dealing with us and our Velvetiser.

Despite only living 30 mins away, and being Hotel Chocolat fans, we never knew this place existed. Visited on a Saturday late morning. Cafe staff were friendly and efficient, serving delicious hot chocolates (with amazing chocolate cream on top). Seats inside were all taken so...

This place is truly Chocolate Heaven. I get fatter just walking through the door. Delicious Chocolate The Cafe is fab.

Wow! We loved the milky hotchocolates with chocolate topping! YUM the drinks are very rich and very indugent. The kids of course loved them. the white chocolate version is sickly sweet though not as good.

I read about it in Cambridge News, the write up said on entering you are offered a hot chocolate sample drink, NO we weren’t, the prices were ridiculously expensive for my pocket, I thought I was going to get some lovely chocolate at massively affordable...
