The best restaurants serving British food in Datchworth & Aston East Hertfordshire East of England

Arrived for a Sunday Lunch booked for 12.00, we got there at 11.50, the doors were all open but we did not feel welcome and were told that they don’t open till 12! The food was fantastic and the young girl that served us was very friendly, but did not know much about the beers on offer It was perfect for us, but it could of been a bit more welcoming

We were at the Tilbury last night for my husband’s birthday. The food and service was fantastic as well as the atmosphere in the Tipi. The staff went out of their way to help make my husband’s birthday special, including getting the musician to sing happy birthday. The food was delicious and the jalapeño marg was 10/10! We’ve been to the Tilbury 3 times now and every time the food and service has been wonderful.

Although my previous visit was some while ago, this beautifully-maintained venue has not changed. The environment, the service, and the food on my recent visit was as good as ever.

What a lovely afternoon we had, the food was just divine. The service was amazing and attentive, the drinks were served as they should be with TLC!!!
