The best restaurants serving British food in Toddington Central Bedfordshire East of England

We threw my mums surprise 60th birthday party at the Oddfellows Arms. Jamie made it so easy and stress free to arrange and the bar staff were amazing the whole night. It’s such a great venue. Thanks Jamie and team!

Amazing food. Starters were devine (bang bang chicken and baked camembert, yummy) For mains I had steak and it was THE BEST steak I've had!! Wonderful people. Warm and friendly environment. A new favourite, we will definitely be back ☺️

Lovely pub with character. Dog friendly. A bit off the beaten track. We came here to meet friends for lunch. Service was a bit slow. But the food was tasty and there was a good variety including specials. We thought it was odd offering cottage pie as a pie, when there is no pastry involved. It had lovely thick gravy. The spice parsnip soup was about 2 on the chilli scale.

We are regular customers at the restaurant and big fans of their scones ......until recently. I'm not sure whether they have changed the recipe or whether the staff who usually cook these have changed but on the last few occasions the scones have been disappointing. Cheese scones no longer very cheesy (now appears to be a plain scone with a tiny sprinkling of cheese on the top), fruit scones much less fruit - cost saving? Who knows.......but please get back to the previous versions. Otherwise a great restaurant with very good coffee and a great selection of food and cakes - the staff are a particular high point, always very friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Smallest chicken breast ever on Hunters Chicken dish. Many out of stock dishes too. Staff tried and were nice enough but evidently new. Disappointed. Won't return.

Amazing atmosphere and the food is cheap and very tasty. Dogs allowed and rooms upstairs are clean and good for a quick stay. :)
