Visitamos hoy temprano para el almuerzo y reservamos una mesa para 4. Mientras estábamos sentados me sorprendió lo tranquilo que era el pub en comparación con muchas visitas anteriores en el pasado. Pedí el pollo salteado, en la foto, y puedo decir honestamente que todo el plato sabía extremadamente salado, lo que lo arruinó ... He tenido esto antes y nunca fue tan salado como eso. Mi papá disfrutó del eglefino diciendo que era la pieza de pescado más bonita que había tenido en muchos años. Mi hija disfrutó de su hamburguesa de pollo y mi hija pensó que sus salchichas y puré era bastante agradable, pero no mucho. De ahí los 3 círculos premiados. Visitado 21 calle Diciembre 2024

Lovely Tea rooms, nice choice of food which was hot and delicious. Staff very accommodating and friendly.

So much potential needs a revamp. Food was average my fish n chips looked refried and well over done. Staff could do with a uniform dress code as they appeared untidy. Not the worst place just needs tweaking a bit.

Stopped off on the way home and immediately got a warm welcome from the guy in the nursery. Ordered a small breakfast and a bacon/egg roll. Black coffee and a cup of tea completed breakfast. Coffee was good and both cuppas were in big cups. My breakfast was well cooked and tasty, swapped the tomatoes for fried slice, beautiful. The bacon and egg roll was huge with a few rashers and an egg. Both eggs slightly overcooked but still a good meal. Price was at the top end of acceptable at £22 but good ingredients and service cost a lot nowadays
